Dean's not that underated though, he's probably the most popular R&B singer right now and rised like freaking fast, he's getting them awards too

Dean maybe underrated in the USA but in S.Korea everybody wants to collab with him. He produces music for kpop groups like EXO. So U shouldn't judge an artist by the view counts of their MVs. The tickets for his concert in London this summer were sold out right away. Together with ZICO (BLOCK B), he is also part of Fanxychild. If U are doing a throwback than you should start with SEO TAIJI. Recently BTS made a cover of their song Come Back Home. There is also Wheesung who is currently releasing songs under the name of Realslow.

He isn't underrated. He's really popular in SK. He produces songs for other artists aside from his own songs. He has recognition and has girls swooning on his looks, the guys over his vocals. 😉 Also, he's one of those whom other artists want to collab with. In 2017 alone he's had at least six collabs by invitation, aside from the songs in his own album.

It's no problem. Just beware really old bowl cuts in a majority of these videos. Also SHINee is a bit of a touchy subject at the moment and a sore spot for many as one of the members just recently passed away due to depression getting the better of him. Just letting you know.
If you want to listen to some older kpop, listen to BoA (my name, girls on top), Lee Hyori (10 minute), Wonder Girls (Irony), some old big bang stuff (we belong together), TaeYang (Wedding dress), Super Junior (U), DBSK (Hug)...there are so many.. These songs I used to listen to when I got into kpop like in 2007-ish.. ;)

Dean is actually popular in korea. He only debuted in 2015 and he was doing good. Just recently he got an all-kill in the Korean charts for his new song 'Instagram'. Mv for that will come out sometime soon.
DEAN actually produced a ton of songs for other artists, and collabs with smaller underground artists to help them out...he's amazing! Remember, he's in Bermuda Triangle with Zico and Crush, which they work together a lot.
He himself said he doesn't care about how well his songs chart or how much he makes.

Everyone just fights for views and rankings and doesn't care about anything else. I've been following Dean since he was jonly Deanfluenza and he is in no way underrated nowadays. He may have a little less views (still hella lot) than others but that doesn't mean he's not popular but it means his fans aren't streaming like freaks just for numbers (I'm not going to point fingers we all know what I'm talking about).
He's still kind of new to industry and he already wrote, composed and produced for Justin Bieber, EXO, Fanxy Child, Vixx, Block B, Lee Hi, Boys Republic, Heize, UNIQ, Madtown, Taeyeon, History, iKON, Dynamic Duo and many many more. He was a producer in two very popular music shows Show Me The Money and Unpretty Rapstar. He worked with a Grammy winner Eric Bellinger. His new song "Instagram" is charting like crazy without any promo at the same time that killer groups like EXO have their comeback. He's hella known and loved by Korean and international audience. He isn't all over the media because he wants to focus on artistry and not on being a celebrity and let's not forget his iconic DIFFERENT R&B I DON'T CARE MAINSTREAM OR INDIE SCENE

He is definitely not underrated. You said yourself that he’s known to be the “R&B King of Korea”. Just because doesn’t have the K-Pop idol title and doesn’t dance when he performs doesn’t make him underrated. Dean is a well-known singer/songwriter and produced a lot of popular tracks. A lot of other Korean artists respect his music and want a track from him or with him.

DEAN isn't underrated. He has a massive following in SK. There's plenty of other amazing Korean groups/solo artist who have low view counts.
If you want to get into older K-rap and r&b, I definitely recommend Drunken Tiger JK and Yoon Mirae. They're two of the kingpins who really started and popularized the genre in Korea. They have a newer project with Bizzy called MFBTY. Epik High is also a rap group that has been around forever and still puts out bangers.
You will regret not doing it sooner, but you NEED to watch Jessi & Babylon- Body On Me it’s a live cover of Rita Ora’s song and honestly I listen to that song a couple of times a day because Jessi’s vocals are nothing to fuck with. Go bless your ears RIGHT NOW Dezz. You can thank me later 👌🏾

There's so much you can do for throwback Thursdays bruh, but this past year or so A LOT of groups (specifically girl groups) that were killing it years ago have been disbanded. Actually yesterday a group called Miss A announced their disbandment. If you can look at the older songs of these types of groups that'd be cool. Some suggestions:
Miss A- bad girl good girl, breathe, i dont need a man
2ne1- fire, i am the best, i dont care (CL is in this group and they were the YG's girl group before blackpink)
Brown eyed girls- kill bill, abracadabra, sixth sense (they didnt disband but they were iconic and are kinda underrated now)
There are literally so many if I suggested all that I want this would look like an essay lmao. Hopefully others comment suggestions like these under here :)

for older artists, you should definitely react to seo taiji and the boys! they were a very VERY big hip hop boy group back in the 90s (basically paved the way for more in the future), and their music is still really amazing today. bts just recently did a whole collab concert with seo taiji himself, and yang hyunsuk (former member) is known as and runs yg entertainment (label with bigbang, blackpink, 2ne1, etc) this would be a good starting point for a throwback series
So throwback, I suggest reacting to groups like Sechskies, Super Junior, TVXQ, and Big Bang. You could React to SHINee too but I suggest waiting a little bit because there's some controversial drama with Reaction channels reacting to SHINee after a Member's death so I'm sure you don't wanna be one of the channels that people with call out for no reason
