How do you post an amazing edit like this without getting copyrighted for the music? Also where do you find your clips? I have to use my phone and record off of video clips and edit them 😭. Is there any tips you can give me that could make my editing a bit more easier? Also I use Capcut :D
Aww thanks! :D But alrighty, prepare yourself for an entire wall of text 😭 Technically you are copyrighted for using any song. The difference is whether you get copyright claimed or copyright striked. In probably all cases you'll get copyright claimed. Basically, the song owners allow people to use their music in videos but all profits goes to them. This doesn't affect your video being on YT really! The other thing that can possibly happen are copyright strikes, which takes your video off YT but these are pretty rare as far as I can tell! There are millions of edits on YT which is proof of that! ;D For clips, the Ninjago Media Project! You can find the website by searching it up! :) And uhh, there's a lot of Ninjago Capcut editors on YT and I'm not one of them I'm afraid! 😅 I use DaVinci Resolve, a video editing software for PCs. I only know that people on mobile screen record clips and audio, so I can't recommend anything about that sadly! Since I can't give you any specific Capcut tips, I'd recommend @trident.ninjago's community post as advice for editing! He's a Capcut editor so maybe you'll find something more useful there!
