I had complications during my pregnancy, the Maternal Fetal doctors just kept saying we can terminate the pregnancy at 24 weeks. Truly mind blowing. I broke down, I had/have a baby at 24 weeks. Whatever is going on we’ve made peace with it. Fast forward I delivered at 31 weeks, just brought the baby home. She’s perfect. Stay prayed up, expect the best an also prepare for thee worst.

I am not sure why but when I click like button it keeps saying dislike. I absolutely love your channel! My sister Kathy was born in 1958 with CDLS. Not much was known back then and they told my parents they believed mom must of had contact with someone having German measles. We never heard of CDLS until Kathy was in her teens. Unfortunately we lost mom to cancer in 1983. Ever since I found your Instagram I have learned so much from you. I sincerely want to thank you for sharing your knowledge, your family and especially your beautiful Freya. I am anxiously awaiting your birth story. Never knowing my mother's full story, I crave any and all information. Freya's smile just warms my heart!

I worked with a child who had cdls, very similar to Freya. What that experience gave me was priceless. I learned a bit about the condition, but i was amazed at the mother and her devotion to him, her endurance, and her strength, there is nothing she would not do for him, and included an almost non-existent sleep schedule, (he needed feedings, calming, etc, through the night, etc). I hope the best for this little girl Freya, and for her mom. God bless them.

We lost our first baby, a little girl, at 5 days old. Pregnancy had many off things from the beginning. Baby would curl up tightly in the right side of my groin, you could actually see my abdomen tighten and go to the one side. I could feel "fluttering" all the time, at only a few weeks along. Ultrasounds were normal. Had one episode of acute bleeding at about 5 mths along, which stopped by time I reached the hospital, with no explanation. Went along further, began having polyhydramnios, getting drained via amniocentesis every 2 weeks obtaining about 1000 cc's of extra fluid. A c-section at full term revealed a 5 lb, 6 oz baby that was perfect on the outside, but she had many problems. The doctor said she developed an occipital brain cyst in the first few days of conception, which more than likely caused her other problems. She had tetralogy of fallot, tracheoesophageal fistula, where her esophagus went directly in her lungs, hense her regurgitating the extra fluid into my abdomen, coarctation of the aorta, her left ventricle basically missing, and possible kidney involvement. She ended up having a massive heart attack on day five, never left the hospital and we only got to hold her after she passed. The worse day of our lives. Thankfully the genetic testing done after her passing was negative an we went on to have 2 healthy sons. The doctor said she was the 5th case in the history of the US to have this. Thought he called it VITAL syndrome, but cannot find anything like that, just VACTERL or VATER syndrome.

ugh i can def relate to the nausea part. i lost 30 lbs with both my pregnancies b4 my babies started growing. i was puking all day & all night. i was skin & bones with a basketball under my shirt. ha. and the days they each were born even my regular pants were way too big.
i gained my pregnancy weight AFTER they were born because i could EAT again and i ate all day & all night. 😆

I can not tell you how much this has helped me. My son and his wife are going through a pregnancy with the same problems. The drs just don’t know what’s wrong. The baby will be delivered at 34 weeks, in about 2 weeks. Now I have some information that can help if there are questions after the birth. They’ve already prepared them that the baby may not make it through cesarian birth. Thank you for this!

I'm binge watching your videos, I had a similar first trimester. I was classed as high risk as I've had surgeries on my spine. From my dates I was sure I was 7 - 8 weeks but when they sent me for an early scan there was a sack and no baby so I was told to go back two weeks later which is when they saw the baby. I also had bleeds, one around 12 weeks and the second and a big one at 15 weeks. Our girls have two different syndromes but a similar early pregnancy story

Wow!!! I can’t believe that doctor said that to you!! When I got pregnant, my daughter’s father decided he didn’t want to be a dad, so we broke up. My doctor, upon finding out that I would be a single mom, decided FOR ME that I should give her up for adoption. He told me that there’s loving couples who can’t have children & my daughter should have both parents!!!!! I can’t even tell u how that made me feel, specially after the breakup!! So, of course I never went back to see him.
AND….my daughter lives a perfectly happy, healthy life.
(PS after 28 years, her bio dad got a conscious & now is trying to have a relationship)!!! She did met him a few weeks ago & he’s eaten alive by the guilt.🤦🏼‍♀️

How is he eaten by guilt? He had the right to decide he didn't want to be a father. Men can't have abortions but they, too, have the right to say no.
The doctor- no words for that. Glad everything worked out for you 🤗
