I have a red sleeve copy and blue sleeve copy of this 45 but was told the red is a second press and the blue is a forth press. Apparently 150 copies are black and white and those are original. Could be wrong as I aquired this info in the early 90s.
Greg Ginn or Black flag broke so many barriers. No band EVER before like this. Paving and paved an entire new stratosphere of consseptual music. *Disregard Google beads illiterate uneducated 'childish' red line,(s)
Someone please direct me to something that rips as hard as this. The boiling anger on display is unparalleled. More like this please. No other black flag comes close. (though My War is good)
For me it is Damaged w/Henry. Of course, that's when I became aware of them. At 1st I was afraid of their edginess but songs like Six Pack and TV Party calmed my fears. I could relate to these guys.
@@secretidentitynetwork6218 That's interesting, I'm pretty much the opposite. I remember first hearing My War from them, and just liking the other henry stuff. I've discovered Keith's version of the band only recently but fucking love it. I really enjoy Henry's vocals so it could partly be the guitar tone or mixing on this that turns me on. All great shit though
I've seen some footage w/Ron Reyes recently and I gotta say he's almost more convincing than Henry; Henry looks like he should be in a punk band, whereas Ron just seems like a normal guy who's just really, really pissed off. Also saw the video for "Slip It In", and yes, it's great shit!
Henry rollins sucks, but for some more great punk rock try listening to one of keith morris's other bands...OFF! listen to the first four ep's album and you'll be hooked!
I keep seeing this comment from people that have no idea what they're talking about. Greg Ginn played through a Peavey 260 Standard PA with the Gain and Low EQ knobs turned to 10, the High EQ turned to 1, and with the amp volume somewhere around 3 or 4. He absolutely used gain as distortion, he just didn't use a distortion pedal. I get that non-musicians think "louder=cooler," but in practicality that's rarely ever the case.
This song is a fuckin' punk masterpiece. Nervous Breakdown that is.
the quintessential black flag song. it encompasses everything the band is
One of the best bands EVER!!!!
Not really, but enjoyable for the basic stuff that they do.
Keith Morris sounds great..
Circle jerks!!
It's like a more pissed off Southern Californian Stooges
Accurated
Lol fair
But not as crazy as The Stooges
In my opinion Keith Morris is best singer black flag had...
The best by far!!!
Your opinion is definitely right.
by far!
Chavo
You're wrong. They're all killers.
This and the Jealous Again EP have gotten me through months and months of work.
So? You're still going to die anyway.
@@hankworden3850 lol
I've had nervous breakdown EP since1982. Don't even try to take it from me
You should get a medal, man.
Late to the party but I have all the original Crossed Out & Infest vinyls. Probably worth a decent penny.
Can I be in your will lmao
@@halroxdynasty8683 I will consider it my friend

such a stunning debut. i like the fact Pettibon reused a alternate version of a piece of art he did for his shortlived late 70s comic for the cover.
Keith sounds soo young…. Fxxckin bad ass!!!
Don't dance this at home, I just broke a mirror and the mirror broke me XD
just caught them in OKC last week... ....AWESOME. sounded better than ever. Black Flag is THE punk band,, imo.
Along with Minor Threat
Black Flag is always fit my pent-up aggression I have inside
Totally, but the raw product early years when they were young adds a lot of awesomeness
WOWOWOW A WHOLE 11 MINUTES!!! oh boy oh boy

Black Flag worshipped The Stooges and clearly took alot of inspiration from the faster songs on Raw Power
Thanks for this cult band for many years a great fan I liked this stuff by thomy
Panic! 🤩😉👍👍
NEW
and improved
Love itv❤️
I love BF just for Ginn's guitar. Don't care for the singing but that guitar is amazing.
Yup 👍🏻
Thank you for this

Fun fact. There is no distortion its just volume
The Johnny Ramone technique.
loud volume is a distortion itself

Keith era - best era - that is all.
😍
its very much a heavier angrier Ramones. Especially the riffs, and a little Johnny Rotten on vocals. I've always loved this trashy classic
Keith is and will be best singer for black flag Rollins Cadena Reyes we’re good but Keith is the best in my opinion
Rollins sucked….the rest were great
why the fuck is there only 1,485 views?

Because most people are tasteless sheep. If it's not on f.m. radio they are completely obtuse to it.
Where is the bass guitar?
Most recordings of this genre & era had no bottom end to speak of.
Definatly wire had a impact on them
ooh... it's the fucking Keith Morris)
Your damn right about that
I hear a littls wire in their music
They sound like the sex pistols
… but better.

Og flag. Tha rest is synthetic
