- The #Horizonscandal for most people began with an #ITV drama in January 2024. For me it began shortly after I was elected in 2010 and as an MP's work always should - with a conversation with a worried constituent who had nowhere else to turn. #StormOnTheHorizon is my statement for the record. It raises questions about the role of #ITV itself and about other issues the legacy media chooses to ignore - as it ignored the subpostmasters for far too long.

I doubt the Post Office is the only one... The Judiciary, Police, NHS, DWP, Parliament etc etc the list could go one. The lies and corruption is unbelievable. Keep it up Mr Bridgen 👍👍👍

Even Richard Tice (on new culture forum) claims his was the first Party speaking up about these issues (not the PO scandal, but all the recent issues AB is championing- I won’t mention them, YT has a nasty habit of deleting my comments about such issues).

I wrote to my MP Yvette Cooper numerous times asking her given Mr Bridgen allegations in connection with Excess Deaths, what steps she was prepared to take to inform her constituents of the correlation with the medical intervention, and to raise awareness to keep people safe.
To my frustration she did not attend, and although I received an automated reply, she herself did not even reply to my 3 emails.
However she was able to attend an ‘An Evening With Yvette Cooper’, held in Derby at £8 per ticket or £32 for a table of 6.
I therefore believe this to be wilful blindness and neglect, they simply are not interested or just don’t care.
Andrew Bridgen you are a hero amongst cowards and Corporate interests.
I think if we all say, ‘nothing will be done’ nothing will be done. We have to make sure something IS done.
Now imagine the true horror of A I running every facet of our lives and everything being digitised

My Dad collapsed from a massive brain bleed not long after 2nd arm spear.
When he came out of the coma he was paralysed down one side.
I begged him not to take it.
He took his own life within 2 weeks of being in a care home here in Spain.

I wonder what other issues the mainstream media may have been complicit in suppressing. There are many parallels between the Post Office/Fujitsu scandal and what we see from the government and mainstream media over their attitude to the current level of excess deaths, i.e. denial, obfuscation and cover up.
Mr. Bridgen, to whom we should be grateful for his brave campaigning, used the phrase, "imperious arrogance" in the Westminster Hall debate today (one that should have taken place in the chamber) and that phrase summed up perfectly the closing comments of both the Labour shadow minister and the Tory health minister.
They also suppressed 'the grooming scandal' of those poor kids.

The drama really brought the people involved to life in a way the printed word could not hope to achieve - the many victims and those who sought to denigrate each and every sub-postmaster. To keep on highlighting injustices must seem a thankless and often lonely mission, but it is very much valued and appreciated, and, by those who cannot join that mission

I'm not a post master but i grew up in a small rural village and the postmaster and his wife were honest descent people . Sir you are a good man ,if the conservative party want to win the next general election. Then bring back Andrew and make him leader of the conservative party and i for one will vote for him. The last 8 years of my IT career was spent with a very large transport compnay, I don't want to mention their name because I have enough problems with them still. I retired in 2013, when I joined the outsource company to do IT for them in 2005 fujitsu were handling the networks. It was utter bedlam. They had to get at least (I didn't count them all) 20 senior analysts on my floor, hint 5th floor Wing Over Station, St James Park. One of them was an utter creep, but the rerst seemed ok. They had to sort out a total mess ! Example, Heathrow 4 when it came online was still on a DSL connection. Press control alt delete to get the login prompt up and fill in name and password, it took 45 minutes to get the desktop to show up !!! So fujitsu turned up and said they fixed it, it took 15 mins after that. "Thats alright !" said my boss !!! I enjoyed the company of working there, but so sad to see such incompetence. This is all 10 years ago now and I am still furious at the attitude shown to the poor helpless users !!!

Andrew, I saw the disgraceful walkout that took place when you were 'debating' the excess deaths from COVID in Parliament. I already knew that what you were saying was almost certainly true, so my reaction to the discourtesy of the Westminster-walkout was one of anger and frustration. Now I discover it was you who played a pivotal role in revealing the Fujitsu / PO Scandal.
Thank you for having the courage to speak truth to power - these days it has become almost impossible. My background is a lifetime in computing systems and in Biotechnology as a PhD and Science graduate, so I have no difficulty grasping what you are saying. Like you, I immediately saw through the cunningly worded Post Office denial of 'the possibility of remotely changing data from front-end terminals'. The author of this statement deserves prison-time IMHO.

Never before have we the public been under such existential attack from our so-called elected representatives. Accountability is nonexistent. Honesty is non existent. There’s no morality left.
