With Spencer and Chris in the game, it seemed like a bad choice and an over emphasis on gun characters in a superhero game. Not saying he wasn't super cool and fun, but with characters like Vision, The F4, Wanda, Iron Fist, Loki, the X-Men, or even Daredevil, Moon Knight, Falcon, or Blade right there, chars like WS or Black Widow felt a bit too MCUish.

That's also because I love fighting games, that I have so many problems with how Capcom handled their latest games: they ruined what they were all about. There are no characters to unlock, you get 1 or 2 pictures as the ending... Do you even realize that some Story mode in SF V is only 1 MATCH ?! I could criticize Capcom for hours, so don't get me started. I just hope they next game is good enough, and not rushed and worth bashing to the ground like this one.
Max Madmax I can understand that. Been playing capcom games for 25 years myself and the marvel franchise is not only my favorite fighter but favorite game. I just feel like at this point the damage was done and it’s better to support what scene any marvel game has left then to be negative. We spoke with our wallets and social media when it dropped but if we never let it go, there is zero hope of them ever returning to the franchise if we can never escape the negativity. Plus people like to have rose colored glasses but this is not the first time we have had a half assed version of marvel. We all have fond memories now but when Marvel super heroes vs street fighter dropped it was a disaster. All reused sprites and levels. Not one new character and only like 20ish playable characters. It’s was the laziest version yet and form those ashes we got mvc1. MVCI May have its flaws but it’s roster and new content was no where near as bad as that. Let’s just try to build the scene and stop bringing it down. Just my 2 cents.

And when mvci was a working progress, I was excited and looking forward to it, until it came out disastrous and destroyed my hype. It looks the same thing from the 3rd one and it’s rushed so fast.

Native2087 well your right that they shouldn’t had added Chris again and same thing for nemesis. Instead why not Leon, Ada, and Jack Baker? With them in the game then they would of tripled the fun. But no. They just had to ruin the game with the poor stupid roster choice.

Some yes, but I believe this is evidence that they wanted to reuse character models from UMVC3, they cut corners and got terrible looking game, poor roster, with some cool gameplay mechanics and an actual story mode smh. Hopefully MVC4 is a lot better
