I am so happy that I had helped my junior colleague with his stammering and after few years he became employee of the year. Simple trick is to practice in front of the mirror it will give confidence and improve talking skills. No one is perfect so do not lose hope.

I used to stammer a lot during the initial years of my schooling when I was a kid. Then this became a big problem. My classmates used to make fun of me a lot. They literally abused me, gave me a bad nickname. But in college, my all problems almost gone and that happened because the people around me in college never made fun of me, they supported me, helped me. And I am so lucky that I got suck good friends. Sometimes, you are not the problem but the people around you create the problem.

I also faced that humiliation but not bcoz of stammering but bcoz of physical weakness, I was so skinny that I couldn't have fight back to my bullies, but I used that motivation and gained muscle mass and I've 70 kg. super lean physique, increased confidence, improved dressing sense, studied well and got good interpersonal skills, practiced and became fluent in speaking english, read lots of books, working for a good company and living a goodlife. But I can't go back to those bullies again, I forgot them and feel very happy to live a life I built for myself without any concern to show them. I still want to live with gratitude and thanxx to everyone who stood by my side and thanxx to every thing, every initiation that helped me to be where I'm today.

Today I work in a call centre. I speak clearly people can make out what I'm saying. I guess what worked for me was I just ACCEPTED that yes I was a stutterer and there was nth shameful about it. This is who I am. And I love my life and I'm proud of who I am. The day I faced my fear , the stutter vanished. It was a long painful process tho . Thank u varun !
