Gold panning ends at Lemmenjoki

Gold mining comes to an end for the summer at Lemmenjoki. We proceed to make one last cleanup and after the earlier nice nugget find we pan the final concentrates.

That bedrock just looks so perfect... Must have been hard to call it quits on the season, even if you were tired and out of fuel 😅 I see the comments about taking it slow with the detector but I'm sure you would have heard a gram+ nugget if there was one ⛏🤠 Just a quick scan is enough to at least know you're not leaving the find of a lifetime behind!
It looks like even Lapland will get some + degrees in the coming week, think the snow might melt before June this year? I miss mining 😊

Yeah the bedrock is solid enought for it to collect nuggets. Yeah was bad timing to end the mining, but at least for next summer there is all ready a good spot to start working on.
Cant really comment on the detector as it was not mine, so not sure how it works. Next summer i am going to bring my old trusty X-terra 705 to sniff out the hidden nuggies on the bedrock.
You never know when the snow melts. I will actually today head over to Kaarreoja to do some maintanenca so i hope the weather stays good.

@@jomsa Yes, I saw it this spring, thank you! I must say it seems a little scary when the bad weather hits out in the fells. I'm glad you weren't alone when the snowmobile had problems. And now the snow is coming back soon, where did summer go? Looking forward to seeing all your summer videos now, to get us through winter until next season ❤

Moro Jomsa pienenä vinkkinä tuohon metallinpaljastimen liikutteluun, liikuttelu pitää olla todella hidasta jotta havaitsee mahdollisen äänimuutoksen jos kultaa sattuu olemaan. Jos liikuttelu on nopeaa, niin ei havaitse tuota ääntä. Näin itse olen asian todennut.

Juu tiedän, nyt täytyy kyllä kritiikki kohdistaa metallinpaljastimen omistajalle ja operaattorille. Itselläni ei ollut piipperiä mukana, niin ulkoistin tämä rengille viime kesänä. Tulevana kesänä otan oman ja juuri noin, se vaatii hyvää korvaa ja malttia jotta kulta jyväset löytyvät talteen.

Well I think some special versions of tinygold-detectors, Goldmonster etc, has to be moved like that. The big gold machines, Gpz7000, Gpx4500, 5000, sdc2300.. You can work at a much slower speed.
