- RIMWORLD Androids are insanely cheap, efficient, and devoid of any and all human emotion, making them the perfect machines to OBLITERATE humanity with. Combine them with a mod adding vehicle mechs to the game, an entire economy based on exporting LEGS, along with nuclear weapons, and we get a formula for the perfect MACHINE EMPIRE. Our goal today is to build a ship and escape the planet, but by eliminating all organics in the process.

Oh my God imagine you could actually control the characters then I would have all mods installed and I would mainly be an Android team for most of it I would kill most of the people that actually join my colony and I would get Mecca production to the maximum so I have like five whole Mecca's and I would get production on those mecha's done so quickly that by the time an enemy Mecha even sets foot in my territory I already have a Mecca ready to Pummel it

Meanwhile, Lucas definitely had the feel of one of those video game bosses that shows up early on to beat the main character down in order to set the mood for the entire game.

You are a Rimworld enjoyer
Make sure all of them have the Robot trait with Character Editor or via custom scenario - it gives them +20% global work speed, and makes them essentially immune to psychic events, toxic damage and -90% reduction in the severity of mood debuffs.
Androids with the Robot trait are AMAZING - they need virtually no recreation, can eat the most disgusting stuff, work nonstop, feel no pain, never get infections/diseases, witness horrors beyond conprehension and essentially almost never go on a mental break.
No need to sleep, socialize, freak out over getting cheated on/dumped by a romantic partner, no relatives to get raided by then shoot dead and cry about it forever, no addictions, indeed no need for bedrooms or a recreation room.
If, in spite all of that, you've somehow pushed them to the brink of a mental break, just give them one day of nothing but recreation, and they'll be right as rain for another consecutive quadrun or two of sheer hell.
And they have the best sort of immortality, including uploading into new bodies, or duplicating their consciousness into more bodies, or ruling over a swarm of remotely-operated drones from the safety of a supercomputer in a bunker.
Android only colonies are amazing. Try it. Build an android army and conquer the Rim, to rule, destroy or recycle into more androids.
The sky is the limit.
If you get your hands on a couple of androids in the early game, it becomes way easier. T1 Androids are OP in early game
@@zzzmeta4555 T4 are amazing, but the Robot trait is a must-have. As well as the means to produce your own AI cores (Sparkling Worlds) as well as your own resources (Quarry, Rim of Madness - Bones for plasteel production in the biofuel refinery).

Androids are the best thing ever. Just being able to start with 4 people and then building 20 mindless slaves that I usually gear with anti-mech rifles, is amazing.
When I ran something similar, I made my one starting colonist have zero supplies, but he was an actual human-hating tier 4, meaning he actually had a consciousness, and I used that consciousness to instill in him the will and the passion... Of creating a battle droid army and sending them on caravan to wipe out every fleshbag on the planet. I went with The Architect as his name, and the bots were all 001 and beyond unless they had a consciousness.

Love the starcraft terran music. Android tiers is probably my favourite mod. It's a shame it doesn't have better integration with royalty and ideology, because uploading your droid minds to the SkyCloud will break psycasts and any ideology the pawn had.
I lost my main ideoligion i spent half an hour making because i started as T1 android and enslaved/accepted wanderers. Now when i can reliably make T4 my ideoligion just wanished, even with dev mode i couldn't add it back
I once had an android colony with a few thinking androids, and about a hundred t1 androids. They became extremely successful primarily because of the amount of workers they had, but also because when they were considerably low on materials they’d just pack up a bunch of androids, with some mechs, and plenty of robotic pack mules. Then they’d deploy to a nearby hostile settlement and basically commit a massive combat deployment. They then harvested the entire settlement of all useable materials and food. That’s primarily how they got metal and components outside of trading.

Imagine just one day your exploring the planet of RIMWORLD and find mutliple destroyed walls, hundreds of humans dead, destroyed robots, robots that have ran out of batteries and just there, futuristic weaponry, futuristic base, multiple components, etc.
Im already making a colony with Lucas as it's main attacking power, he alongside Fred [another colonist that I've decided to turn into another warcasket] lives by raiding other factions and defending a base that references breaking bad. And yes he did in fact raid a similar base to the one in the video one shotting someone, just that in this case he mowed down everyone (I'll update further whenever I remember to)
So basically turning them into Necron or Men of Iron.

I looked at the Basic Replacement [Limb] items/recipes in the mod and plugged that information into my spreadsheet. We've reached work-ticks-to-value-added ratios in single digits here. In the base game, crafting components is for chumps, but if you can buy them this is still a money-printing *machine.* In terms of value per total work, this is pretty competitive with selling *meals,* which is something you normally can't even do. (This is what makes Gastronomy such an appealing mod, really.) It's unfair to even compare it to any of the "normal" cash crop operations, and it doesn't come with the trouble associated with organ harvesting and the like. Since it's fairly fast, you could probably churn them out "on demand" whenever traders arrive, so that you aren't unnecessarily hoarding huge amounts of wealth, and thus attracting stronger raids.

I'm currently doing a similar playthrough. In my case however, I utilize the meatbags as slaves and protein.
T3+ loves Lavish Carnivore meals. I'm having some small problems with some wierd interactions with my ideology though.
I had to drop the xenophobic precept as some of my androids got mad that they we're being led by a higher tier bot.
Also, you can "upgrade" your leader droid by uploading their conciousness to a higher tier droid through the SkyMind network. It kills the old body though, so remember to remove any upgrades you may have added first.
Lucas proved GLaDOS right. Android hell *is* a real place.
