Man there was not much left from that Tonka Tractor - what a amazing job you did making it like new again. making the plexi missing parts - genius! Well done mate!
So far I only knew "Tonka" as the nickname of the guitarist of the English band UFO Paul Chapman (RIP). May be he was just as indestructible as these toys. This is the first time I see a Tonka toy! Great restoration, great how you added the missing parts.
Tonka is a big toy company but wasn't that popular in Europe they are still around but as other toy manufacturers they putting more and more plastic in their toys which is not that charming anymore. Thank you for watching and commenting
Hi there, no it wasn't a 3d print I made the mould before from another tractor. What you do is get a suitable container, little bigger than the actual part, poor the silicone over it and you have the negative mould. You have to use “liquid silicone rubber mould” for that or if you have a very small part you may use “silicone moulding putty” Thanks for watching and commenting.
Hello my friend, you did a good job again. A very good renovation. The tractor has been great. Congratulations. Thumbs up. about to meet. big greetings.
This is truly a very good restoration! The missing parts that you make yourself: the tires an the radiator, beautiful. Also the repair of that small corner of the drivers seat. All this lead to this wonderful result. No doubt you are a skilled crafsman!
Your style reminds me a little of HowToBasic, except you actually go through the process of fixing stuff instead of just destroying everything 😂. Fun to watch!
Still my favourite video of yours. So many great techniques used in one video. I have no idea what I would make but I think I might have 3D printer envy...hahaha. Glad I've not missed any videos my friend. X

Thank you so much 😀 Check out my new video I have more "new parts" in that one ,including v8 engine, seat with dual control, tracks and some smaller parts.
Nice custom work to make it look exceptional! New technology helps make new parts. But to do an actual restoration using all Tonka parts are available. Bit I do like this look! Be easy to make a set of duals for it. Just print and extend the axle. Be a thought for another build.
Great Job! You really did save this one. You started with a metal frame and DIRT! I also enjoyed the production of your own parts, wheels and grille. Beautiful. Were you filling pits with JB Weld? Was that easy to sand and finish? Very much enjoyed it. Keep them coming!
Yes it was JB weld one of the strongest one around has some metal particles in it, strong but you can sand it. Thank you for watching and commenting next video coming up soon. Vintage office telephone restoration.
Yeah, they had to copy the shape from somewhere, I've seen them in white, red, blue, green. The red and the blue looks pretty good. Thank you for watching.

You’ve done well mate. Shame they used John Deere colours, the shape of the bonnet and guards resemble an Oliver more so.
Yeah, they had to copy the shape from somewhere, I've seen them in white, red, blue, green. The red and the blue looks pretty good. Thank you for watching.

You should sell reproduction of tractor tires
