You are so correct about finding good things for yourself in thrift stores, almost all my clothes are "gently used" from the thrift store. Often you can find things with the tags still on them. I hope that jacket is authentic, it is a super good find. Thanks!
we usually buy everything from the thrift but running shoes - not that i wouldnt buy used running shoes but i never find the ones i like

Awesome find on the jacket! We were at Goodwill tonight and I found a limited edition lion picture from a famous photographer!! Got it for $4.50. Looked it up and it goes anywhere from $499 on up!!

I am always amazed at what things you can sell. Those reindeer you would have to pay people to take over here. And used clothes you have to give away unless it really exclusive brands. Things like cd-players and other old electronics you couldn't even give away.
yea we have already sold 1 reindeer for $50 plus shipping and it had a small crack on the side - i agree its kinda mind blowing what sells online

That would be a nice find if the Arc'teryx is legit. The only thing that's concerning to me would be the stitching on the "ARC'TERYX", where the letters seem to connect to each other. I know some other brands have this too and are an indicator of it being fake, but I'm no expert. The Yeti lid itself could maybe go for like $5 too. lol. I always pick up On Clouds too. Great haul!
we sent some pictures and compared to real ones - my sister knows they brand and says you can usually tell a fake by the zippers

The goodwill yall go to are way cheaper than the ones around Austin. Ours are asking like 15 bu ks per golf club and 25 for half decent tennis shoes.

Sitka is another high end hunting brand to watch for. Found one of their better Camo vests in a GW a while back, new with tags! Sold in a day for $180. Also watch for Kuiu brand. Don’t sleep on hunting gear. A lot of it is very expensive.

We lived on our 40 acres in a pole building for 7 years until we built our log house. Our kids were 7 and 9 then. The boys. My husband and family friends used to Play combat croquet. It got pretty rough the older they became. It kept them busy
How Cool was that, A pole building. I don't think I would have even built a house, You could make a pole building into any size, shape you. want to. Your imagination is the limit. ❤❤❤

11:17 Arc’teryx is Canadian and is less expensive in Canada. (Eddie Bauer, in contrast, is much more expensive in Canada.)

@@beardedthriftmachine, exactly! I was thinking of doing the same thing to pay for my next trip to Canada. My concerns are whether there will be a duty/tax issue-would I get hassled at the border-and how would I sell stuff in Canada?

We went to your local Goodwill when we were on vacation last week & found a like new dyson roller ball vacuum it is one of the yellow ones - also found a tumi back & lots more - I was super impressed - hate we didn't get to meet you guys - we waited till friday to go but must of just went at the wrong time - maybe next year

I just discovered Arc'teryx brand when I picked up a baseball cap for $4 and found out they sold for $45 or $50 new when I looked it up online. It's like new, I'm curious to see what I can get for it.

That Yeti you can buy a decal and cover the name of the bank, the decals I got were from the Harley shop so magically it’s now a Harley Yeti but don’t cover the Yeti name

Don’t know if you caught my comment as I added it to an old video but a Goodwill manager told Crazy Lamp Lady that it is certainly worth visiting Mon/Tues as they get a lot of donations that didn’t sell at yard sales People ask too much for items, they don’t sell but they still want to get rid of things so they just donate them and you can get some good stuff

I've found that Dyson vacuum cleaners aren't worth the effort unless they look lightly used and work. The colored plastic parts become very brittle and will often break when trying to take them apart to clean or repair. I stay away from them.
