I’m glad they took that scene out and instead gave a heart to heart with Anakin and Padme. Also Rex trying to cover for Anakin while Obi Wan was looking for him was funny. On top of Obi Wan basically saying “I know, and I know you know. But I don’t care and I’m glad your happy”
As funny as this scene is & all, I’m glad LucasFilm changed it. We got a more meaningful scene that gave us confirmation that Rex knew Anakin & Padme are married. Cat Taber got her chance to be in this final season of the Clone Wars since she was with this series from the very beginning. And it’s a good idea in general to not get on Anakin/Darth Vader’s bad side.

This scene really adds depth to the bad batch lol. Definitely makes them seem more human in a way similar to the old movies of soldiers talking about girls while they’re heading off to war
I totally would have said to leave it in because I think it's hallarious, but I do agree with the reason they took it out. When this episode was first created, it was not going to be Padmé's final scene in the Clone Wars. But then Disney bought the company and kinda screwed everything up as usual, and this episode ended up being Padmé's final appearance in the show. The creators thought she deserved a better send off then this, so they took it out.

If y’all wanna complain about Disney’s changes in season 7, it was replacing the first Asian character in clone wars with the two sisters. One character made sense but having two characters share the character traits makes their motivations make no sense.

No, they didn't have it in the completed version. This was from the unfinished versions of the clone wars bad batch arc that was released when the Clone Wars was canceled. It was never fully animated. When they released season 7, they replaced this scene with the Anakin/Padme conversation instead.

I used to be mad that they removed this but now with the Bad Batch series I feel like removing it was the right move to make the Bad Batch a slightly more suitable team to be taking care of a kid. Although it would be cool if they found a way for the scene to be added in and somehow, some reason, wrecker ends up removing it.
