Yall wrong with the face of influence, it was stated by gege that his series was influenced by bleach same thing with demon slayer. With JJK for example cursed spirits being similar to hollows, gojo being similar in personailty to kisuke (although looks similar to kakashi), Gege stated also that Todo is inspired by Kenpachi and there are many other stuff. For Demon slayer the Hashira being similar to the idea of Captains in bleach, and to kill demons by a special metal sword is similar to killing hollows with the Zanpaktous etc.. many more stuff also such as Balck Clover having the Captians idea, for example Nozel is similar to Byakuya, Jack the reaper to Noitora (espada no.5), the whole plot twist with Julius which is a carbon copy of Aizens. I think that bleach is really the most influential out of the big 3.

To help with bleach being the face of influence you can look at yuji, todo, and gojo and say they're pretty much exactly like ichigo, kenpachi, and kisuke, then the theme of human group slaying monsters, that is bleach's exact base, other examples of it is chainsaw man, attack on titan, and demon slayer. The gotei 13 of demon slayer is the demon slayer corps and the hashira is like the captains. And after watching how influential bleach is it turns out that bleach inspired the writer of my hero to draw and create his own zanpakuto.

@@solomongrey5339 characters are extremely one note and usually flat out cringe with yuno being probably the worst deuteragonist in battle shonen, it feels very Disney like with super low stakes/outcomes. MC is suuuuper generic and cliche and quite annoying even in the English dub. Most of the cast outside of the black bulls are non existent or get little to do. Villains are probably some of the most under developed and feel very cookie cutter. Art is great but the power system is pretty basic and feels very reminiscent of fairy tail mixed with zatch bell. I wouldn’t say a good female cast either, alot of tropes and most are pretty basic or boring. Idk it’s not a bad series but it’s not very good either, just very middling/average. Hollows and cursed spirit is very alike if you read the early bleach chapters in how supernatural the setting was. Even the Mai Zenin vs Maki Zenin had almost the same conclusion as Yoruichi vs Soifon battle, Mai crying in the end and asking why Maki left her is almost one to one in how it happened in Bleach. As for mha and BC they have less inspiration but the authors have said bleach was an inspiration in their career, so..

Bleach directly is stated to have inspired Gege with JJK. Iirc it also inspired Black Clover and a few others. Also has tons of other great villains. Almost no one in the other series is as sinister as Tsukishima with how he messed with the MC on a personal level. Ginjo being a what if version of Ichigo, Grimmjow bringing out Ichigo's true self and eve Ulqiorra being a morale battle for Ichigo.

Influence with newgen is definitely Bleach. Demon slayer and JJK are some of the biggest manga/anime right now, and their authors noted that Kubo was a big inspiration for them. Gege Akutami even has an interview in the JJK character guide book
I've seen a lot of comments about bleach. I've watched the anime but haven't read the manga. This is the time for the anime to shine when it comes back. It better make quite the impression.
A lot of the new gen series are inspired by bleach. Also I feel many anime fans forget too easily of the story of bleach. They barely remember anything outside of the first two major acts. You see influence of bleach especially in JJK. yuji and ichigo are literally similar in their goals to protect others, and are thrust into it after getting given power (sukuna/rukia). Plus they both aren’t fully human. Demon slayer is basically bleach but set in a different time period, and chainsaw man has similarities with the devils in comparison to hollows. Similar with curses too.

yeah its kinda wild considering after JJK and demon slayer, the animation expectation is much higher than it has ever been. Even the high points of the animation in naruto are common animation today.
Naruto has the best fight scene and choreography of the big 3, and it's not even close. It doesn't matter if the series finished 10 years ago. Samurai Champloo came out 20 years ago and it still has one of the best fight sequence ever.
one piece emotional moments and impacts are at least and better than naruto. 1. Nami's backstory and her mother sacrifice 2. Ussop leaving the crew made every one piece fans cry. 3. Strawhats ship fairwell made every one cry and feel for a non living thing. 4. Sanji's 2 tragic backstory . His father put him in the jail for several months because he was born weaker than his sibling. He was constantly bullied his by brother. His father made him a choice to run away and he will tell everyone that sanji died. 4.Brook and laboon connection. We cried for a whale. 5. Robin rescued arc. Luffy declare war against world government. Robin sacrifice herself for her friends cause she thought they would die in persue of saving her. This arc healed her trauma. 6.Ace died infont of luffy and that scene tramatized luffy and made our tears fall. 7. Chopper backstory very emotional. 8. Law and corazon - the most emotional and saddest one piece story. It made every one emotional. 9. Oden backstory. 10.koala backstory. 11. Goat bon chan made me emotional the most. We cried for a side character that only appeared 3 times. 12.Senior pink - one of worst character design and appearance, a villain that has 3 minutes backstory, but when we knew about the reason about his appearance we can't stop tears coming out of our eyes
Love the vids Rob keep up the great work. I do feel like Bleach ain't getting enough love tho like tybw by itself has better animation and art than anything I've seen in Naruto or One Piece, and Bleach's sound design is really unmatched, Outside of just Aizen and Ywach villains like Ulquiorra and Grimmjow were both amazing and flushed out in their own right, I definetly feel their character designs are the best(that's really just personal opinion this is very subjective), and the female cast for Bleach was so underrated its insane on both the hero and villain side.

As some caught up to the Manga of Undead Unluck, Andy has become even more OP. Here are some major spoilers, The dude has mastered a soul manipulation technique and now can fight with his soul even if his body is captured/immobile and directly attack opponents souls. He was chilling on Sun(Fire slowed his regeneration in early series) for Billions of years while using his soul technique to hold back 10 of the strongest UMA/rules in the series(including death,luck,change etc.). He can create copies and send his copy to Earth from Sun to fight a villain. The panel of Andy sitting on the Sun goes really really hard. One of the best.He is certainly very strong and unkillable unless we talk really OP characters.
Goddamn it. It seems like the only way to really kill Andy besides sealing is some other ability to completely negate/destroy his. Or use hakai from dragon ball.

@@jackmakila3776 Each bankai has a 10x stat multiplier, it might actually close the stat gap between Ichigo, and Goku, in addition to just how broken all bankai are in general.. Ichigo was easily the most powerful fighter outside Goku in a normal fight anyway, and goes up to start of DBS before needing adult Ichigo to go further.

This was a STELLAR collab. Tracy and Jared clashing with each other was very entertaining with Rob as the mediator, with a bit of sneaky spices to throw into the mix. Loved it overall
Ichigo with every bankai might actually WIN in a battle like this, since every bankai gets a 10x stat amp, which might actually close the gap between Ichigo, and Goku statwise, and since I believe Ichigo goes up to start of DBS before it's game over, and Adult Ichigo being needed to go further in the DB verse... it's not TOO much of a stretch for the gap to close in this one specific instance. In addition to all the absurd hax all Bankai have. If Ichigo doesn't win...he's at least EASILY second place, almost every single bankai is just so fucking broken, and Ichigo is easily the most powerful person presented in this picture behind Goku normally in the first place.
i personally think that if you consider Devil Fruit the power system in OP, and not Haki for this list, you should consider Zanpakuto as one instead and I find that way better than Reiatsu

The Haki gas is crazy. There's no individuality to Haki. Everyone's Haki does basically the same thing. And that thing 99% of the time is just hit Harder. If you're lucky it's a little bit of precog. Precog + Hit Harder is literally all of Haki, and those are both things that exist in every power system to some extent.
That's majority of power system the difference is that it depends on on the characters using it and the mindset of said characters and the level of strenth that they face throughout there journey haki is a physical proof of how strong a characters grow and you can't train your haki you can only get it stronger by extreme diffs fights and haki bloom
Currently it looks like there’s much more stuff to explore when it comes to Haki. Shanks was shown to kill future sight. Then, there are different applications of Ryuo and conquerors that are showing each chapter

In my opinion I feel like Bleach and Fairy tail have inspired a lot more of the new gen anime than either one piece or naruto. Black Clover Magic Knights squads are easily inspired by both guilds and the gotei 13. Curses and demons (to an extent) resemble hollows with the stronger ones being able to develop personalities (Special grade, Arrancar) and the sorcerors and slayers missions to eradicate them. Natsu and Greys relationship is closer to asta and yunos than naruto and saskues throughout the series as it is more of a rivalry of wanting to one up eachother rather than one or the other not accepting the others existence. ik this is only the inspiration from 2 shows but i truly believe that these few points run deeper in a lot of anime than most people realize.

One Piece as Face of Influence and here's my reasoning: You got a lot of well-known celebs who have mentioned their favorite One Piece characters. You have a lot of olympians repping One Piece poses.
No one piece emotional moments and impacts are at least and better than naruto. 1. Nami's backstory and her mother sacrifice 2. Ussop leaving the crew made every one piece fans cry. 3. Strawhats ship fairwell made every one cry and feel for a non living thing. 4. Sanji's 2 tragic backstory . His father put him in the jail for several months because he was born weaker than his sibling. He was constantly bullied his by brother. His father made him a choice to run away and he will tell everyone that sanji died. 4.Brook and laboon connection. We cried for a whale. 5. Robin rescued arc. Luffy declare war against world government. Robin sacrifice herself for her friends cause she thought they would die in persue of saving her. This arc healed her trauma. 6.Ace died infont of luffy and that scene tramatized luffy and made our tears fall. 7. Chopper backstory very emotional. 8. Law and corazon - the most emotional and saddest one piece story. It made every one emotional. 9. Oden backstory. 10.koala backstory. 11. Goat bon chan made me emotional the most. We cried for a side character that only appeared 3 times. 12.Senior pink - one of worst character design and appearance, a villain that has 3 minutes backstory, but when we knew about the reason about his appearance we can't stop tears coming out of our eyes

The one piece anime is not more popular than the Naruto anime. That's not an opinion, that's proven with one search. It was almost always Naruto that people's first anime. Crunchyroll clips of Naruto capture the most views out of the three. Even tho Naruto ended in 2017, surveys and polls from 2021 and 2022 still had more countries choosing Naruto over one piece as most popular. One piece is my favorite shonen series but it's okay to accept that it's not the goat in every perceivable aspect.

Okay my hot take about Blackbeard, I don't think he's the final villain. I think he both literally and figuratively drowns in his own ambition. They said that during the time skip he's been going around collecting devil fruits and selecting the perfect fruits for his crew. I think there's some kind of obstacle to get to Laughtale and that's the reason Shanks crew can all swim and when Teach hits it he isn't going to have one person on his crew who can swim. I think he's going to drown because of his unquenchable thirst for power.

With JJK for example cursed spirits being similar to hollows, gojo being similar in personailty to kisuke (although looks similar to kakashi), Gege stated also that Todo is inspired by Kenpachi and there are many other stuff.
For Demon slayer the Hashira being similar to the idea of Captains in bleach, and to kill demons by a special metal sword is similar to killing hollows with the Zanpaktous etc.. many more stuff also such as Balck Clover having the Captians idea, for example Nozel is similar to Byakuya, Jack the reaper to Noitora (espada no.5), the whole plot twist with Julius which is a carbon copy of Aizens.
I think that bleach is really the most influential out of the big 3.

To help with bleach being the face of influence you can look at yuji, todo, and gojo and say they're pretty much exactly like ichigo, kenpachi, and kisuke, then the theme of human group slaying monsters, that is bleach's exact base, other examples of it is chainsaw man, attack on titan, and demon slayer. The gotei 13 of demon slayer is the demon slayer corps and the hashira is like the captains. And after watching how influential bleach is it turns out that bleach inspired the writer of my hero to draw and create his own zanpakuto.

@@solomongrey5339 characters are extremely one note and usually flat out cringe with yuno being probably the worst deuteragonist in battle shonen, it feels very Disney like with super low stakes/outcomes. MC is suuuuper generic and cliche and quite annoying even in the English dub. Most of the cast outside of the black bulls are non existent or get little to do. Villains are probably some of the most under developed and feel very cookie cutter. Art is great but the power system is pretty basic and feels very reminiscent of fairy tail mixed with zatch bell. I wouldn’t say a good female cast either, alot of tropes and most are pretty basic or boring. Idk it’s not a bad series but it’s not very good either, just very middling/average. Reminds me alot of fairy tail

Hollows and cursed spirit is very alike if you read the early bleach chapters in how supernatural the setting was. Even the Mai Zenin vs Maki Zenin had almost the same conclusion as Yoruichi vs Soifon battle, Mai crying in the end and asking why Maki left her is almost one to one in how it happened in Bleach. As for mha and BC they have less inspiration but the authors have said bleach was an inspiration in their career, so..

Bleach directly is stated to have inspired Gege with JJK. Iirc it also inspired Black Clover and a few others. Also has tons of other great villains. Almost no one in the other series is as sinister as Tsukishima with how he messed with the MC on a personal level. Ginjo being a what if version of Ichigo, Grimmjow bringing out Ichigo's true self and eve Ulqiorra being a morale battle for Ichigo.

Influence with newgen is definitely Bleach. Demon slayer and JJK are some of the biggest manga/anime right now, and their authors noted that Kubo was a big inspiration for them. Gege Akutami even has an interview in the JJK character guide book

I've seen a lot of comments about bleach. I've watched the anime but haven't read the manga. This is the time for the anime to shine when it comes back. It better make quite the impression.
A lot of the new gen series are inspired by bleach. Also I feel many anime fans forget too easily of the story of bleach. They barely remember anything outside of the first two major acts. You see influence of bleach especially in JJK. yuji and ichigo are literally similar in their goals to protect others, and are thrust into it after getting given power (sukuna/rukia). Plus they both aren’t fully human. Demon slayer is basically bleach but set in a different time period, and chainsaw man has similarities with the devils in comparison to hollows. Similar with curses too.
Regardless on how much I agree this was really fun to watch.

I do feel like Bleach ain't getting enough love tho like tybw by itself has better animation and art than anything I've seen in Naruto or One Piece, and Bleach's sound design is really unmatched, Outside of just Aizen and Ywach villains like Ulquiorra and Grimmjow were both amazing and flushed out in their own right, I definetly feel their character designs are the best(that's really just personal opinion this is very subjective), and the female cast for Bleach was so underrated its insane on both the hero and villain side.

He can create copies and send his copy to Earth from Sun to fight a villain. The panel of Andy sitting on the Sun goes really really hard. One of the best.He is certainly very strong and unkillable unless we talk really OP characters.
Goddamn it. It seems like the only way to really kill Andy besides sealing is some other ability to completely negate/destroy his. Or use hakai from dragon ball.

Ichigo was easily the most powerful fighter outside Goku in a normal fight anyway, and goes up to start of DBS before needing adult Ichigo to go further.

Ichigo with every bankai might actually WIN in a battle like this, since every bankai gets a 10x stat amp, which might actually close the gap between Ichigo, and Goku statwise, and since I believe Ichigo goes up to start of DBS before it's game over, and Adult Ichigo being needed to go further in the DB verse... it's not TOO much of a stretch for the gap to close in this one specific instance. In addition to all the absurd hax all Bankai have. If Ichigo doesn't win...he's at least EASILY second place, almost every single bankai is just so fucking broken, and Ichigo is easily the most powerful person presented in this picture behind Goku normally in the first place.

The power is always fascinating. It really inspired me to think of my own for a manga series I'm working on.
The Haki gas is crazy. There's no individuality to Haki. Everyone's Haki does basically the same thing. And that thing 99% of the time is just hit Harder. If you're lucky it's a little bit of precog. Precog + Hit Harder is literally all of Haki, and those are both things that exist in every power system to some extent.
That's majority of power system the difference is that it depends on on the characters using it and the mindset of said characters and the level of strenth that they face throughout there journey haki is a physical proof of how strong a characters grow and you can't train your haki you can only get it stronger by extreme diffs fights and haki bloom
Currently it looks like there’s much more stuff to explore when it comes to Haki. Shanks was shown to kill future sight. Then, there are different applications of Ryuo and conquerors that are showing each chapter

Yhwach is better. Aizen is boring, he has no character development and just one of the middest characters and is only liked because he manipulated everyone and you didn't see it coming, and for stoping ichigo theme song.
While Madara has a bad voice, badass quotes, abilities, design(but aizen is better looking) and he actually killed the main 2 most important characters in the show plus was made too strong that the main protagonist even after getting a bs god lvl power up still stood no chance.

In my opinion I feel like Bleach and Fairy tail have inspired a lot more of the new gen anime than either one piece or naruto. Black Clover Magic Knights squads are easily inspired by both guilds and the gotei 13. Curses and demons (to an extent) resemble hollows with the stronger ones being able to develop personalities (Special grade, Arrancar) and the sorcerors and slayers missions to eradicate them. Natsu and Greys relationship is closer to asta and yunos than naruto and saskues throughout the series as it is more of a rivalry of wanting to one up eachother rather than one or the other not accepting the others existence. ik this is only the inspiration from 2 shows but i truly believe that these few points run deeper in a lot of anime than most people realize.
also Black clover is only related to naruto due to asta having a goal of being wizard king and being a loud mc which is super common.

Zanpakutos aren't exactly random considering they're apart if their user's soul and reflect it, such as Yumichika saying the name of his shikai and awakening a kido based shikai and him using a false name in order to hide that kido aspect.

Okay my hot take about Blackbeard, I don't think he's the final villain. I think he both literally and figuratively drowns in his own ambition. They said that during the time skip he's been going around collecting devil fruits and selecting the perfect fruits for his crew. I think there's some kind of obstacle to get to Laughtale and that's the reason Shanks crew can all swim and when Teach hits it he isn't going to have one person on his crew who can swim. I think he's going to drown because of his unquenchable thirst for power.
