    Efficient is definitely the correct wording! You cannot mix up speed/time with quality. You must be consistent, but never skimp on the quality of the finished product! That is you reputation and you need to stand behind your work a 100% Awesome vid Mr. Pete! As always my Brother! Peace and God's Love! Chad Upstate NY

    I love this thing! I’m currently downsizing machines so if anyone in NC interested in buying one feel free to message me. I have the 7.5’ for sale. Also selling my Kubota MX6000 as well.

    Would the power rake on the ventrac be better for the hard section?

    • @jeremyantinore2976
      @jeremyantinore2976 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      He said in one of the previous videos that featured this attachment that you could use a power rake interchangeably. I would assume he is using the abi attachment instead of the power rake is for efficiency. This attachment looks like it does more in one pass and quicker than the power rake could. I could be wrong.

    Could use some carbide teeth and some hardfacing on them would make them last a bit longer and make them more durable. That being said, that attachment is amazing. I love your videos Pete. Everything is so well explained and always demonstrated in the best way. Keep up the good work!

    Can you get carbide teeth for your implement... They shouldn't ware out.

  • @Blubaugh5

    Is this the driveway you had to come back to because of the groves? Would it be easier to break the crust with the power rake and then come back over with the ABI attachment? Assuming all would be done with the Ventrac.

      Different driveway. This one didn’t do it. My trailer isn’t big enough to haul a tractor and a ventrac 😂

    Did you go do this job when it was moist at all? or bone drought dry? As you said after a rain 🌧 it likely much easier and easier $$ on your equipment repair wallet.

    Does the TR3 have the ability to crown the driveway? A crown would greatly reduce the potential for the potholes to come back.

    • @GCITurf
      @GCITurf ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes you can crown with it 😊

      😂it did for 15 minutes while I got my camera gear set up. I cut it back off then cranked it again once I started filming.

    Hey Pete, hope you're doing good. I just wanted to ask if you had looked at the Kioti brand tractors as well? Not sure what the price point would be on the size tractor you're looking for but Y&W Farm Center in Madison, NC carries the Kioti brand.

    Kubota Grand L 60 series would be my recommendation for you. We have had the 3560 for three years now with 800 hours on it and it has been wonderful. We have the golf course tires on it which I highly recommend. From what I can tell we do nearly the exact same type of work that you would be doing with it.

    Curious, I'm in Colorado and my dirt/gravel driveway is about the same length and rock hard. Very much like the one in this video. I need this done on my driveway. like to get an idea of the cost to have this done. What did you charge for this job?

    Hey Pete we used to do yearly maintenance on our hunting lease where all the members had to come out there and work luckily there was rich people and then there was well me so a lot of times they would pay my lease fees and such for me to do their share of the work which I was always okay with but we had a guy that did driveway maintenance in that type of stuff layang-layang rock and all that and he had an old disc like you would disc you're filled with and he would make a light cut all the way down the road doing a zigzag and then he would run the Ripper through it in the year we did not have that the road we had was probably close to a mile and a half but it took the entire day without disking it first just using the Ripper just kind of something to put in your head maybe you've done it or heard about it just curious what you thought
