Thanks for making this flipthrough! I’m discerning which program to start this Fall. This seems very doable and not overwhelming. I’m coming from knowing almost nothing as well.

Have you done a follow up video on how you liked this program after you were finished with it? Thank you!

Love the review. I have an incoming first grader and thought about purchasing this, but he still hasn't learned english rules, verbs and such. So I will hold off a bit. We are spanish speakers and I know it does help (latin root courses are taught in Mexico at age 10 or so). But I'm wondering if it's too soon for my 6 year old. What would be your advice Ms.?

mmm SOUL I’m glad it was helpful! They don’t need much grammar knowledge to start, but they do recommend they are fluent readers before starting. I hope that helps. :)

What is the difference between this and Latina Christiana?

Lamp in Deep Waters Prima Latina starts introducing English grammar and Latin vocabulary and Latina Christiana goes deeper into both. Latina Christiana also has a history component you can add. Prima Latina is meant for 2nd grade and Latina Christiana is used in 3rd and 4th grade, if you go by the MP schedule.

BUT you can start LC without ever having done PL. So if you have a 3rd or 4th grader, you can jump right into LC.
