Don't care about the contest. The ruling is weird... silly.
so basically the quality of your shrimp matter less then your ability to follow rules that will be made tomorrow..
seems easy to navigate and totally worth the time it takes to get to that level.... said no one..

Wow! It sounds like too much bureaucracy. I'd just move on and like you said don't do that one again. I just ran into your channel and thought I would subscribe. I've been breeding neocarodena shrimp and I now feel confident so I'm taking the plunge and planning to do a mixed bee tank. I have a tank setup for 3 weeks cycling snd letting it build up algae and biofilm. I plan to do a 50% water change in a couple of weeks and plant the tank. After that, I'm another week or 2 I will then order my shrimp. I'm not in a huge hurry. I just want to take my timeto make sure the tank is just right for them.
😁 typical German behavior Germans don't like you to contradict them because only they are right , is very funny because Romania and Poland have 0 points and only germans have 62 points and i don't believe poland and romania dey have so bad shrimps to not get at last 5-10 point?

Very sad to hear you got disqualified for such rules. I hope to see you there this year though! And that they are more lenient on correcting mistakes or better at communicating the rules

Idiotic contests with idiotic rules. To be fair shrimp judging should be extremely standardized(in terms of light, equipment, material...) and the current status is way too blurry
