This is some helpful advice to hone everyone’s skills! I remember watching a video from you on How To Become a Voice Actor back in 2019, and now in 2022, I feel more comfortable as a voice actor myself. I feel like I have been making quite a lot of progress with booking some gigs, even with the demo I got! There’s still a lot I feel like I need to learn however, but that’s kind of like watching the first season of a series, and understanding the series or getting comfortable with the series as soon as you watch the 2nd season or the season finale of it.
You never know, one day it may find its way back into your lap. :) It's never too late. So of course by all means take an indefinite break to focus on other things!
I watched this Q&A live and it was phenomenal. It was seriously cool seeing you take the time to answer so many questions in which you answered with incredibly honesty and sincerity. The valuable insight you gave was vastly informative, covering topics like getting an agent, what recording equipment to use, the importance of doing non union work before becoming professional, your personal experiences, etc. You really are an extraordinary treasure trove of knowledge, wisdom and experience. I decided not to go to college so I can try to focus on getting started with voice acting classes and not have to pay tuition alongside equipment and classes but there’s always a ton of anxiety and regret mixed in. Your videos have been very helpful with me for figuring out places to start and I’m definitely going to come back to these once my depression is not in the driver’s seat ^^ thank you for being you Brizzy!

Thankfully the first part of your advice (breathe correctly, since I'm a trumpet player) and the coffee part (I don't drink coffee because I don't like the taste) I've already got. My coach and I are hopeful that I'll be able to get, like, a preliminary demo by the end of the school year (I'm a teacher, not a student, I wanna be tactical about having a good financial basis before diving in), and then my journey can take the next step!

I have SO many questions!!! My first issue would be REPAIRING my voice. I'm 40, I've accidentally lightened and damaged my voice from years of using it wrong. I worked for 3+1/2 years in a Haunted House company. I screamed and roared, but did it WRONG. I didn't support my breath from my abdomen, but from my THROAT. Also I have a dry cough from some medicine I take. I've been coughing pretty much daily for about three years now. I am super nervous and would be scared/nervous to do stuff like that. (I'm working on that through my reenactment group) ....and now my living conditions are such that I WILL get interrupted if I tried to do anything.
So what happens if someone cast somebody if they can do certain accent some different regents or do you have to be a certain origin to have the accent or how does it work
I am working on a Shakespeare's play that is a much ado about nothing and I am playing a character named Hero and how do the voice of Hero in Much ado about nothing?

I'm trying to to get into English language voice acting but I only have experience voice acting in my native language (urdu). Can I make a demo out of those? Also I have a noticable Pakistani english accent. Will that effect the type of roles I get and should I get American english accent classes?
I think it depends where you live and what the entertainment industry is there like! I'm afraid I'm pretty ignorant of the voice over industry outside of the US and Canada! But if there seems to be a good amount of voice over content in your country (Pakistan?) then you should be good to make a demo in Urdu! Don't stress too much about sounding American if you aren't auditioning in America.

Idk what the labor laws in your area is but 14 may be too young to get hired unless your parents / guardians are working with an agency for child talent. I suggest spending time learning and practicing and perhaps finding a fan project / animators your age to hone your skills and practice working with other students. I knew I wanted to make games since I was a teen and it didn't happen until some time after high school so don't stress if you don't find work yet, just keep having fun learning new techniques and practicing. Good Luck!
