For me, this is purely brotherly love. A trustworthy dongsaeng & a silently caring hyung...
It seems to me that Mark is the only one who treats Yugyeom like a real maknae (the other hyungs seem to baby BamBam more because of his cute(er) appearance since trainee days and debut era, but Yugyeom has a more mature appearance & vibe). Mark doesn't really baby Yugyeom (he doesn't baby anyone for that matter LOL), but he always encourages Yugyeom and gives reassuring smiles. And Yugyrom too, does the same too Mark.
