    Having both the standard and high arch double wheel hoes. I can say they are a game changer for all garden chores. Really appreciate a fine American product!

    I started working my garden with my wheelhoe yesterday here in northern Maine. Last year I got the double wheel deal with the single wheel shoulder bolt and that gives tons of options. My next purchases will be the discs and stand alone seeder. No joke my wheel hoe took the place of my garden tractor with plow and harrow.

    Because of being on wet land I normally plant on higher rows. I tried the garden seeder today on raised rows and its hard to stay on top of the row. I am thinking I may order another wheel or take one from one of my other plows and see if I can fabricate 2 front wheels. The old planet jr had wide wheels on the seeder and it is easier to plant on top of a raised row. I have 2 of the old planet jrs and a hoss stand alone seeder with all the plates plus 5 of every blank to make additional plates as the need arises.

      You could sort of farm and plant around the rocks without automation. Of course ya gotta be careful around big rocks to prevent breaking motorized tools. Probably does not require as much water for plants among the rocks. Would smaller rains water the plants sufficiently with rocks around the plants?? Seems like it.Dennis

    • @gardeningwithhoss
      @gardeningwithhoss  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Small rocks are not an issue. However is your soil is very rocky or known to have a lot of big rocks i would not recommend using this if the rocks are there.

      Rock does not sprout
      weeds nor absorb moisture. When gardening with hand tools rocks are not such a real big hinderance. And they
      break down into minerals although some/do/more so/than others. Dennis
