I really like Hi-capas, get the nice look of a 1911 without the useless skinny 1911 mags. However finding a hard shell holster for these is a pain in the ass, especially if you are outside the US where Kydex is non-existent.
You have to give it some force (not too much :)) but I was applying more force bit by bit the first time I disassembled it). The spring and some rubber are keeping the inner barrel in place, but if you pull a little bit harder, it should come out. Also, make sure to give it a little bit of a twist since there is a part blocking it at the end of the outer barrel as well. Always be careful of course :)
And I got one of this gold match and rare play it , and now I got problem with it and no idea how to check it , the upper slider is not move to the back after the bb is finished ? anyone any idea ?

they dont make metal. they are kind of durable but plastic is plastic you drop it on a rock or something and it may dent or even break. is you are looking for metal hi capa i really recomend you checking armorer works, i got mine 2 days ago and i amazed
The dont make metal pistols. The plastic slides are known to break, and have way weaker recoil than guns with metal slides. Internals are the best on Tokyo Marui, but the slides are just bad
So can you upgrade this part by part (maybe 2 parts sometimes?)? I’m asking as I’m curious if the plastic will break when say you upgrade a part and not another
aztec8765 Based on all pistols we have ever tested (barring CO2 pistols), the Tokyo Marui Hi Capa is THE best all weather pistol ever. We have customers in Finland who tell us they swear by the Hi Capa even in minus 20 degree centigrade weather and the pistol still manages to finish an entire magazine and lock back (even when they've fallen in the snow and the entire Hi Capa is encased in snow and ice). That can't be said for many Airsoft pistols...
yo you guys should come out with a beginners care package which includes literally everything u need fir an airsoft match (i.e. tac gear, and gun, mgs, a secondary, mgs for that, bb's boots, and maybe some game tickets?) and also you could make a pro version with a better gun, better gear, and stuff like that anyone else down?
It's a good idea but it would have to be done right, many retailers offer "starter kits" which are just entry level rifles with a pistol, this would have to be like a primary, a secondary, battery's or gas for both, smart charger if battery's awe included, a large amount of rounds to suit both, some sort of tactical vest/webbing and eye pro, it's a great concept but to a new player on a budget all those items grouped together in one purchase may seem like a lot

signuptakesolong With a metal slide. I guess it could work. But the mags just wont fit from what i know, WE and TM doesent often work. I wouldnt try CO2 on a Marui pistol, they are known to have lower quality slides, because these are plastic. Thats why i like WE more.
Tom Tom fair enough but I have a WE hi cap hence the mags and last skirmish towards the end of the day (guess getting colder) I couldn't empty a mag or even half a mag on one co2 capsule which was disappointing to say the least.
signuptakesolong Oh what ? Thats kinda bad. I have a Glock 18C by WE, GreenGas, and i shot it on -6 Celsius, with normal greengas, and it worked no problem, full and a half mag. It might be a thing of CO2. But, yeah, TM has better performance in cold, because less gas has to be used. I would reccomend trying Propane on your gun, it works in low temps and it kicks more than greengas, but slightly less than CO2.
looks like 1911 i always wanted... exept that it's not a1911, i prefer much more the grip of the 1911 to that of the hi-capas, so that is really a let down.
Is anyone else annoyed by the magazine sticking out of the bottom of the gun? I see this quite a lot and I just don't get how people live with that. I just cannot stand it at all
Most handguns have some sort of a magazine bumper plate like that so you don’t damage the magazine if you let it drop freely onto the floor. Now obviously this is more of an aesthetic thing in Airsoft because honestly I don’t think anyone wants to drop a 30-40 TM magazine on the floor and risk it breaking for whatever reason. I have seen people drop them onto the floor while doing a mag change and nothing has happened though. Might have been the circumstance, but yes there is a definite reasoning behind the extension on the magazine opposed to a flush magazine. They’re also easier to pry out if the magazine ever gets stuck for whatever reason (unless you have a magwell).
Are these fully compatible with the older models. I have an Airsoft Surgeon STI SLide and Frame intended for a Hi Capa and I would like to use the Gold Match as the base gun too build it.
Can be hop-up chamber from orig 5.1 be normally installed on 5.1 gold match? and same question for enhanced aftermarket chambers from orig 5.1 to 5.1 GM?

That's strange, usually IPSC guns are customized to the shit in HK so why wouldn't a gold match be allowed?

Jan Jan um. the plastic slide is okay and actually is pretty durable. IF it breaks you have a wide array of aftermarket slides to choose from.

Definitevly the WE mags wont work. Nor the CO2, this gun can hardly take GreenGas, with CO2, the slide would break.

For a compact pistol a mag sticking out is okay, but that is just madness!
It definitely take away from the flushed pistol aesthetics.
