When in m/s.. the term s goes upside then it is being multiplied by m so.. ms.. and as in m/s the power of s is 1 so when it goes upside to multiply with m then the power will become -1 means s^-1 ..hence ms^-1

At 3:51 you wrote s=d/t I know when we were you get we ise to denote it that way but now to remove the confusion you should denote it the actual way v = s/t Here v is speed and s is distance I had this concern because it may help to avoid confusion
