Loved the Hokkaido series and the room in this vid was so cozy :O. BTW, just to brag a bit... I got offered a job in paris but only 6 months xD. I'm still deciding if it's worth going there. While this is a beautiful little ryokan in the middle of the city, as a 6 foot tall (182cm) man it’s a good thing I didn’t stay there 😅 Anyway, I just want to wish you a happy and safe Christmas! 🎄❄️☃️🎅🏻🎁 PS. Those outtakes were solid gold 🤣
That place looks terrific. I stayed at a ryokan in Shijuku that was featured on a popular TH-cam channel. It was cool, but it was quite contemporary. It was also extremely hard to find, but a local woman saw how lost I looked and helped me find it.
@@TokyoFoodieSarah Sara - Believe me when I tell you: Japanese people are extremely nice and helpful. If you ever need assistance, don’t be afraid to ask a local Japanese person. 😝
Oh wow. That's a really cute inn! I haven't been to many hotels so I am not an expert but I haven't seen anything that nice here. Although I would smash my head on that low ceiling. There's a disconnect between how tall I am and how tall I think I am. This is a very pleasant video to watch. Thank you and happy holidays from the cold and snow ridden United States. Edit: All 12 of my nieces and nephews are here and I suddenly have a headache and I wish we had rice.

I really love the minimalistic style of the ryokan, and honestly your don't really need the tv. The other things were the warm colours all around the ryokan. Brown and beige and green, then ater 6 minutes red. Really peaceful, cozy place. In this ryokan eveni had the feeling that i am tall. Nice video. Btw what is that ladder - like thing on the right side of the toilet?
Love your videos! Do you know of any ryokans in or near Tokyo that have private in room onsen? I am planning a trip in October 2024 and would like to include a 2 night stay at an onsen ryokan. Thank you for any help you can provide.
I liked how you pronounced the shampoo in the shower. A little more European I think. In the U.S. It would be pronounced " Big El Oh". I'm not correcting You, I love the way you said it it "Bi jell Oh". Sounds much nicer. But then red faced me has to admit U.S. had two Deuce Bigalow movies. Crimes against humanity. Arigato Senpai, I love what I learn from you. ( Deep respectful bow).
As a Westerner, Japanese breakfast always look odd to me. It's looks like what we call brunch or lunch and sometimes it looks like dinner. I'm not saying it's wrong. It's just so different.
