The holder on the roof was for storing a camouflage net. Great Videos, thanks for sharing your thoughts and experience on this project.
Oh that’s cool! Thanks for sharing ☺️
Very well done, to build the structure of this roof-rack. It is always a pleasure to watch both of you planning and then execute your ideas. And besides your diverse skills anyway, also not afraid to exercise “learning by doing”. And it worked out well always. Looking forward to your next episodes.
2:32 it's for camouflage tarp
The Mog is lookìng so good. Your workmanship is truly amazing. Love to the fur babies ❤
Thank you so much 🥰
That was a lot of teamwork and planning that went into this project. I enjoyed watching this. Thank you !
I like the idea of the crain
lookin good!!! (I am my 5 children's "Phil power up") lol
That is amazing! A Phil power sounds very helpful! ☺️
Wish I could do pateren (not spelled right sorry)
...maybe I missed the part, but did you name your Mog already, or does it come at the end when you finalize the construction of the valuable vehicle. Or you leave it by Mog? Anyway, one thing already is becoming clear. It will be a unique one-off, made with a lot of love and passion. You show it in every episode, and it makes a difference. Keep it up, it will bring you a lot of sympathy. You have mine unreservedly. Many greetings to you.
We named the mog “Moose” 🫎 recently. Moose Mog just had a ring to it haha 😂 we’ve had a blast building this vehicle so far. Thanks for watching!!
@@OurWayToRoam …thanks for sharing…so it is “MooseMog” (MM), nice name and easy to remember. The name fits also somehow…no, I think quite well. The Moose has long legs, and a high body above ground. The Mog has the same features, a high suspension, and a high structure above ground. So, you had already the functionality of the vehicle in mind, by naming it MooseMog.
My ambulance had a gas heater mounted there for the patient area.
i see raptor is anaglypta for vehicles?
Could the roof rack on the cab be a stretcher mount?
Very possible!
@19:12 how did you get the steps to stay attached?
This was filmed before they fell off in the solar video
How wide is your cabin ? 2350mm ?
When we measured the full width it was 2300mm
We‘re aiming towards 2350… hope its not too wide
Which tyre size…. 365/80 or 395/85 ?
We have the Michelin XZL 365/80. Would've loved to fit the spare tire in the original spot under the box on the driver's side. Unfortunately we just couldn't make it fit without raising the cab or box.
Plus you loose height between the axles, then. I just got a set of 395 xzl, but before fitting I have to blast the rims…and I have no real idea for the spare. Really tricky. The cabin was not made for such high loads, plus a high load isn‘t optimal anyway. Really a problem.
We’re hoping to eventually find another spot for the spare 🤔 This works for time being but we’ll brainstorm a few more possibilities in the future when we’re not trying to also finish the living space haha. Would be nice to have a little extra storage on the roof of the cab instead of the spare.
We're is the other puppy
