If you can find it in your heart, I would recommend giving a whole pack of 24 colored pencils.
It is a lovely size that gives everyone great joy by having ample opportunity to really color drawings.
Having such a whole collection really gives inspiration to draw and color.
as a former recipient of goodies from balikbayan boxes, i know for sure they will be happy! when i was in elementary school, it was a luxury to own staedtler brand pencils, and now, to be able to pack those in my shoeboxes, just makes me so appreciative and grateful of how far the Lord has taken me. thanks for sharing Sharon! Thanks for sharing your experience in the Philippines, Niki! I know for many families in the Philippines, balikbayan boxes are considered a lifeline. I'm grateful my mom had the idea to add school supplies to the balikbayan box. Now, we will do this every year!

The world needs more shopping tip videos! TFS. I just started in 2021 and want to do better for '22. I worked for a week. Saved $200 and spent it all on 2 boxes. I'm going to be looking for the deals this year! Especially since I plan to do many, many more!
Sorry, just saw this! Yes, I agree, more shopping tip videos. They are very helpful for me. So generous of you to save and spend money on boxes. But I agree, my first 2 boxes were really expensive because I bought everything in full price. Now, I know. There are great deals out there. Happy packing!!

These pencil pouches are so pretty. How clever to use the cap erasers for the scissors. That is such a great idea! There you go again with your imagination.👍

I have volunteered at the process center in Charlotte, processing boxes as well as working at the filler station. These are a blessing! I do OCC boxes and pack pencil packs for “The Pencil Granny & Friends “ I think more people are realizing that these are greatly needed and more people are now packing them too which is so awesome!😃

Thanks Jessica! I'm just happy the word is spreading on pencil packs and fillers. I agree, I think the pencil packs are little presents especially to those with limited funds for school supplies.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts and ideas. How very much is the need for many, and how very much we take for granted. Your mother’s stories brought memories of my mother - the oldest of eight children - and how grandma would buy paper by the page from the neighborhood bodega, and cut the pencils in half for she and her siblings. Thank you for sharing your ideas and emotions.

Now, I'm really glad I pack pencil packs. I'm glad to hear you will be packing scissors with pencil caps!

Thanks Zhanna! I know, I was so sad to hear about that story from my relative. But they managed, and all the siblings had a great education in the Philippines. But my relatives' experiences with obtaining school supplies are shared by many today.

You are doing a fantastic job 💖. Since I am leading my church project, I am helping others at church fill their boxes. I may pre pack pencil packs for them so I know they are good 😉😂

These are wonderful! So nice of you and your mom! I want to get some of these bags at some point to do the pencil packs. I don’t know if this season or next but definitely something I would like to invest in because it really keeps everything so organized.

Awesome pencil packs. You did great shopping clearance sales. I'm curious how much you paid gor each bag of Easter/ holiday 60 pack erasers. 2021 is my first year, I only sent off 14 boxes,but looking forward to many more and fillers, since I've watched videos like yours, Robynn's and many others.
