Man I need to find some time to go out fishing with my friends. Can hardly even find time to go out on my kayak nowadays so these videos are soothing on my soul dude. Nice fish all around, hope they were great!
Heading out offshore for the first time in a decade and can only hope I catch a nice mixed bag like this with my dad. Thanks for the tackle tips on all your vids. Keep up the good work! 👍🏻
That was really a good video I like the offshore fishing you were catching a major mixed bag of saltwater fish. So now you can do a catch clean and cook . !
For finding spots, I highly recommend looking up public numbers online for your local area and trying those out while also keeping an eye on your sonar when you're running in and out to see if you can find any spots on your own
Strong work! What a great mix in the cooler!! Only 13 miles out...what's the depth like there, and the bottom structure like? Up in Hudson, 13 miles out is only 20', so unlikely to see even peanut mahi. :)
Have you ever caught a mahi before? If so, what's the biggest one you've caught?
Yes I have, a few months ago in mexico. Out of the 2, 33 inches was the biggest one I caught
only in my dreams but can't wait to make it happen love that fish
How are you getting on mahi in the gulf
@@connorhfishing213 I haven’t seen mahi in the gulf, only around Miami waters so I’m pretty surprised
I live in Baja Mexico fishing the Sea of Cortez. The dorado (mahi) migrate in during the summer. Normal is 20 pounds. But they can get big.
Nice you guys!!
I'm here in south Texas & you've just got to love Gulf fishing.
It's especially nice when it's calm like this.
It's like a huge lake.

Crazy box! Great to meet you the other day at the skyway. Way too hot that day. Keep up the videos.
What a great day on the water!

It's a 5' ledge with rocks all around it and it holds a ton of fish!
@@SeeYaDude We've got some 6' ledges in 50' of water west of Hudson..think we'll see Mahi around there or do we need to go deeper?
Cool video
Mani!
13 miles offshore!? 🤔
great video, looks like you two had a lot of fun out there! What kind of net is that? I need one that folds up like yours.
It's called a Frabill Power Stow Net. Here's a link if you wanna check it out amzn.to/2Ee2NAj
@@SeeYaDude Thank you!
I'm a new follower and I wanted to know the size and make of your boat. I think its ideal for my family
Now I run out of Tampa bay too how far out do you have to run to get on mahi
Man were you on a wreck or something? So much diversity out there and relatively close.
It's a good ledge with some rock around it, holds a ton of fish
What bait did you use for mahi? I’m going to Tampa in 2 weeks for fishing. Would love to catch mahi.
But you ain't got no legs Lt Dan
Besides walking outside, what tools do you use to know it is or going to be flat offshore?
I use the website "buoyweather" and that gives me a good idea of what the wave height will be for the next 48 hours
How deep were you guys fishing, the weight didn't seem too big
50', we were using 1/2 ounce egg weight
What is the cruising speed of your boat
I usually run around 30 mph, but i've gotten it up to 45
Nice I got a 22 pathfinder with a bot tower and that how I run mine
What kind of shark was it
They looked more like pompano dolphin rather than mahi mahi
1st
watchout with that music...
Shame on you 😮😢 keeping those little ass fish.
