Very nice model, I got the exact name and model but in 1:400 Gemini. I'll be sad to see them retire the 747 Virgin in next 2 years got my visit to Cuba in September on Virgin 747 as it could probably be the last time
I flew on Lady Penelope, the 1st 747-400 for Virgin Atlantic in August 2015. It was the first and last time I flew on her when she was retired 2 months later. Fun fact: the plane was on sale on eBay for $900.000, it was then cut up and turned into tags made out of the fuselage.
Patrick, I kinda wish they went for the 777X or -300ER instead of the A350. Better option in my opinion as they have a majority of Boeing aircraft now.

At least you flew on her before she retired :( Yeah it had a buy now for $900,000 and starting bid of $300,000.
They did a very good job with the silver color, I would imagine it's one of the harder colors to get right.

ooo I think they cancelled it and ordered the A350-1000 instead but I could be wrong. it would be nice to see those cherry red paint scheme on an A380

I have been on virgin. my return flight from new York was called Virginia skies. unfortunately she is no longer in the fleet and has been scrapped :-(
