I don't get it. ER doesn't seem the best choice for a first item especially since it doesn't have spellblade anymore. Trynda mains, I'm thinking the new runes on Trynda should be Hail of Blades against most match-ups and Grasp against some tanks and Jax. Core Build (boots), Kraken, PD, IE, with the last to items adapted to match-up. I've tried this only in normals and it feels ok. What do you think?
Hail of Blades is also my first choice coming into the new season, but since we are already having the speed procc from Hail of Blades, perhaps IE isn't such a bad idea for a first item even if the build path is clunky. Imagine having the first three attacks with the attack speed you already gain from Hail of Blades, plus the insane crit chance and damage from IE. Gonna try it out my upcoming games at least.
@@eduardowallen8508 It's lovely thinking of the damage you could have with IE first item but I think it's too punishing to build. It's very expensive and all it's components are as well. Best case scenario you get fb and 4 waves and you are able to get pickaxe at first back, even so, good luck getting 1300 for BF on your next back. You will most likely be forced to buy Berserker's to maintain your lead and if the enemy doesn't buy boots, he will most likely still get first item before you. Right now I can't see a better first item other than Hydra or Kraken and then followed by Phantom.
With those items you would have no CDR and that means less spins. As fogged explains on the purchase of the item, ER just gives trynd exactly what he needs: high AD, crit, and a lot of CDR (we just ignore the passive). It's just like S9, the build usually was ER, IE, triforce, where at that time you would have 40% CDR, meaning you could spin, crit twice and have spin back up again
