TBF more than likely Balthazar would turn Solland into Navada with basically 1 Rich City and 90% of it being Nuke Testing or Magic Testing in this case.
@@Stormgamer-xb7gv in the actual lore basically nothing but WHTW is an Alternate timeline, Solland in the lore is practically Empire Nevada 99% of it is empty wasteland and given to Nuln after an Ork Waahg destroyed it.
@@forickgrimaldus8301 ah alright, but what did balthasar gelt want in it? Is there lore to that or was that just an idea of yours 😅 Cause id love it if theres actually lore about balthasar creating a Magic testing ground in Solland 😂
These videos have made me start an empire army in 2021. 90% of the oop models are £80+ for something that looks like it was assembled and painted during an earthquake.
So here's what I found about those other Colleges, courtesy of Warhammer Fantasy Fandom Wiki. Gold (Metal): A large complex of labs and foundries, skyline dominated by chimneys, usually dedicated to making gunpowder and other war materials. Inside it is described as being rather luxurious with fancy carpets, decorative furniture, gold statues of previous Patriarchs, etc, though the building is often clouded by noxious fumes outside. Grand libraries and a lot of shelves full of materials. Grey (Shadows): A shabby-looking grey stone building located in a portion of the city so seedy and wretched that the City Watch doesn't even go there. A number of secret entrances all over the city connect to it, enchanted so that no one outside the order can find it. The building houses a grand library with the same enchantment, but the building basically looks like a crumbling stone building with birds roosting in the roof and tower. Lights appear behind the windows at night, possibly to scare off potential thieves. Amber (Beast): No college building. Tend to live out in the wild.
yeah the Drachenfels thing isn't actually an army, at first he is apparently slain by Oswald von Königswald and a party of adventurers, then a decade or two later Oswald puts on this lavish play commemorating his victory, inviting Franz and the other lords of the Empire to attend, which turns out to be an evil scheme by Constant Drachenfels to one up the poisoned feast, the great enchanter is finally defeated truly this time and Franz decides to have the cursed castle destroyed, how effective that ultimately is I'm not sure as it is still standing and mentioned in the wrfp source book even described as being sort of alive and is a location visited by the heroes of Ubersriek during the endtimes as they fight the Vermintide
Likely a combination of Martin Luther and Jan Hus. Hussites were some of the first people to use armored wagons as mobile fortifications. Medieval tanks!
Just for info :) Rhya is the goddess of Life and fertility, Taal is the god of nature. I would say Rhya would have dominion over cultivated land and Taal the wilder parts (so basically not the farmland).
Robert Pettigrew are you available to answer a question to a two year old comment. Are you talking about empire gods because all I can find out about is Sigmar and Ulrich for true non foreign empire worshiped gods. If so could you give references one might use to learn more about religion in the empire.
@@livingdaybyday3469 While Sigmar is the state religion and Ulric is the most popular in Middenhiem (and the more northern areas) there are many other gods in the Empire. Morr the god of death Shallya goddess of healing are common. Rhya and Taal are older gods worshipped in rural areas. Other god are worshipped in smaller numbers. Now the Church of Sigmar depending how zealous will try to suppress or convert them leading to friction with Ulric worshippers (the others carry on worshipping the old gods while paying lip service to Sigmar). Castle Drachenfels is one of the old Warhammer Fantasy Roleplaying 1st edition adventures. There is a lot of different shallyan asylums, hospices and wards around the Old World. Most of them are institutes for bodily disease and harm. There is a couple that try to treat wounds of the mind. I think rules for both surgery and mental treatments emerged in the Warpstone and White Dwarf publications as well as a couple asylums to use as adventure settings. Both are crude and carries a chance for crippling characters.
As much as I like other factions like the orcs, chaos, vampires, skaven and the lizardmen I cannot forget how much I really like the empire. I love their style of fighting with handguns and artillery and their culture is awesome too. Praise sigmar!
Awesome video dude, appreciate all the effort you put into your videos. They are super informative and entertaining. Glad people still do lore videos for Warhammer and don't jump on 40k bandwagon. Anyway, I think that wyvern is actually pronounced as "wAivern"

Great Video but do you think we can hear about some Skaven or Dwarf Clans or maybe some Beastmen, Greenskin or Norsca Tribes. I've really been enjoying the Bretonnian Dukedoms and Empire Provinces videos but I want to hear about some more badass races factions :) :p
The story of Sigmars birth is a lie. He was created in a test tube in the Himalayas along with his 19 other brothers and was tossed into the Warhammer world by the chaos gods and was eventually found again by his father, the Emperor of Mankind and was the Primarch of one of the lost legions, the Stormcast Eternals. Then came the non canon Age of Sigmar nonsense that we do not speak of.

i really wish we had a way to choose our empire uniforms. Or at least the uniform of your soliders depended on the province you recruited them from
Steps for listening to this:
1-Pick a hot beverage (or cold)
2-Roll a big fat blunt (or a cookie)
3-Listen and relax
4-Pee when needed
