The hardest part of this was timing it to make sure I wasn't one revival short before Iphi could put Blood Contract back up. I think your more aggressive strategy works better for drawing enough attacks to ensure it comes back up consistently.
@@rubemevangelista3868 Its very complicated, like different move list based on remaining stacks. Barrier stacks only reduced by 1 per attack and such. On stopper hit, your party buffs will all disappear. You can't debuff it's PWR/INT over 50%(aura included) or it will get 100% buff. It's a very hard boss without high debuff units like Yakumo and survival unit like Iphi
@@rubemevangelista3868 Mostly it has a rotation which changes based on the main stack (it's on Altema, might be on the English wiki now too), and does a lot of AoE damage, some of it fixed damage (meaning it can't be reduced). It will also counterattack under some circumstances. The Iphi strategy is basically to not bother trying to survive its attacks, which are all AoE, and use Blood Contract to absorb them. As long as it doesn't hit 4 times before Iphi can use Walpurgisnacht again, it can't kill you because she'll refresh Blood Contract. The trouble with the Iphi approach is you have to learn what it's going to do and either trigger or not trigger counterattacks to make sure there's never a situation where Blood Contract runs out, or at least where Iphi never takes fatal damage (I think in my run I ate one unabsorbed counterattack, but because Blood Contract wasn't redirecting it all that happened was 2k damage to all and that was survivable). There are also strategies for handling it the normal way, but I didn't use them, so I can't say exactly. Being able to boost your Max HP is probably helpful in order to survive the fixed damage and other attacks.

Is there a way to get Yakumo's damage that high without having ES Toova, I tried substituting ES toova for AS Radius and Yakumo doesnt do a tenth this much damage. I might should try a different element.
a possible substitute for Toova ES will be Yipha AS, but you will need to adjust the Strat as it's impossible for faith yakumo to go slower than boss. Radias AS has no offensive support, so of course you do little damage.
@Seven7AE oh ok, makes sense. I should have done research before using my star dream on Sesta since Sesta is so worthless she should have been a free unit with the story. (End rant hahaha) I'll have to come back to this one once I get Toova ES since this fight was obviously made for her. Thanks for letting me know so I know to come back later on this one, I'm just mad at myself for not researching and pulling a crappy unit. :_(

@@Seven7AE Thanks a lot, Ill give this a try, I think this one depends on some grastas I don't have, but maybe I can go win them from the battle sim before I could save 3 codex for es toova. My plan was to have yakumo be slow to not trigger boss multiple attacks on low stack phases.very specific way.
I mean, how does this boss even work? I couldn't figure out what it was doing so I could think of a strategy

Thanks guys. I was able to beat it using the Iphi strat after several hours. Very complicated boss indeed.

Tetra's extra HP aura should help quite a bit in that.
Also why didnt you use es toovas companion skill for extra damage?
party because I haven't done her character quest, and because her buff has more priority for this.
How do iphi get infinite revive?
That’s just part of her kit(blood contract) which is why she’s one of the best defensive characters around

what should i get iphi or sesta but nothing to do with defeating the spider
In terms of overall flexible use, Iphi does much more than Sesta who is quite limited to Wind AZ teams.
How in the world do you do this without iphi or radias????
use Kid or some other debugger, just make sure not to go over 50% debuff as that will trigger the aura
