Great video. What is the dynamic pressure sensors exactly? Is it able to pick up the absolute pressure within the cylinder or what information can be gained instead of using a static sensor?
Thank you for your question Jhon, as we know ultrasonic sensors are often used in combination with mobile/snapshot monitoring. So this type of sensor is not appropriate for continuous machine monitoring.
Thank you for your explanation Wolfgang, your points are clear! I'll check our current recip's for what we have on that. To come back to your question of what we are also interested in for future video's; that would be how you generally protect diaphragm compressors. Best regards, Maurice
Thank you very much for the comment Mikey, if you need support for checking your recip's we are glad to help you, just give us a call 0049 5971 808190 or email to info@prognost.com. And also thank you for the topic which we will put on our list.

Yes, up to 1600 bar it measures the absolute dynamic pressure directly inside the Cylinder Champer.
What are your thoughts of ultrasonic sensor points to detect valve integrity?

Very nice explanation. I think it is better to install temperature monitoring on valves.
I would not say "better". Temps are a good indicator and proper addition but not a 1:1 substitute.
