Roller crimper discussion

Roller crimping is a great way to terminate your cover crop without applying herbicide or using tillage. It is the perfect tool for creating a green mat of weed suppression that you can plant right into. Allison Kerr, MAEAP Technician at Eaton Conservation District and Tim Redder, NRCS District Conservationist talk about roller crimping to terminate cover crops and results from a survey that was sent out to producers in Eaton County to gauge their interest in using a crimper to terminate their cover crops providing we can secure one for rent. Allison and Tim also provide important information on the benefits of planting cover crops on your farm.
