It is always so dispiriting when you have to move stuff to use the machine that you want. All the delays & troubles break the smooth flow of the job & clutter the mind with distractions. Quick easy tool use so makes the spirits rise & the job go quickly & well. Thank you for sharing!

Very nice. Also, never get down on the floor without a plan on how to get up.😂

I love using pocket screws. Nice little project that solved a couple of problems.

I love it. This is how my shop furniture looks as well. Why use the good stuff, when you can get use out of off-cuts? Well done!

Very nice! There’s something very satisfying about using scrap wood to build something useful!

Thanks for sharing with us John, not a thing wrong with that cabinet built for the wood planer cart. Saved a lot of money using scraps and used lumber to build it too. Good job well done. Fred.

Nice cart John! I have put all my saws and machines on rollaway carts. I have a back porch on my house that was 12 by 30 and I converted it into my woodworking shop. I call it my porchshop.

Nice when you can use old scraps to build or fix something! I like how you came up with a plan to make that cart and used old scraps, looks like a very functional home for that planer. I'll be interested in seeing similar projects in the future. I really like the shop made handle.

Having just proven you were justified in keeping the scrap lumber is the most important part of that project.
I love when I can use the stuff I’ve got tucked away.
    Stay warm.

I have had that same Bosch 12v Lithium driver set for years and have built all kinds of things with it. It's a great tool set for light-medium work.

I find I really don't need anything more powerful in the woodshop. I also have the little 12V trim router that's quite nice to work with

Hi John, love this kind of project. Love re (re and yes re) using materials. Do wonder why you put the drawr on the bottom and not at the top, but thats your choice!

I wanted to keep the little belt grinder higher up so it's easier to lift and if I come up with some kind of swing out arm, it needs to be higher up.

Function has to be the first priority thats for sure. But it does make the shop more enjoyable when the things in it are a pleasure to look at.
