    CAUTION:
    Every pet is different. Make your best judgement on the amount and the ingredients depending on your own pet’s allergies and food intolerance level.
    INGREDIENTS:
    1 cup shredded carrots (140g)
    1 cup almond flour (112g)
    1/2 cup peanut butter (128g) - optional
    1 large egg
    1/4 cup coconut oil (60g)
    1 tablespoon honey (21g)
    1 teaspoon baking soda (10g)
    DIRECTION:
    Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
    Prep: shred carrots. I pulse blended baby carrots in a blender. You can use a knife or a grater to grate/shred carrots into smaller pieces.
    Mix all the ingredients in a mixing bowl and make sure all the ingredients are mixed well. For solid form of coconut oil, microwave for about 20 seconds to melt it before mixing it in.
    Apply melted coconut oil onto the baking pan of your choice.
    Put the mixture in the baking pan and bake for 30-40 minutes (until the toothpick in the middle comes out clean).
    Cool down and cut into appropriate sizes before serving.
    Keep the treats in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days or in the freezer to keep them fresh for longer period.

    Is it okay to use a regular or wheat flour instead of almond flour?

      We recommend whole wheat flour if you would like to use wheat flour. You may have to adjust the amount for the flour.

    Hey.. I need to know asap.. will it be equally delicious if i make it in a large portion?? Like a bdy cake?? And what can I do if the mixture becomes to light, you know, due to the lack of any extra liquid item.. I need to make it tonight, can you please respond. And also how many cups would be thd 112 gram flour?

      Sorry about late reply. Hope this went okay haha i would guess large portion will take more time to bake throughly and slightly need to lower the temp. For the mixture, you will have to play with more flour or more water to get to right dense. 112gram is 1 cup (shown in the description for the future reference). I know the answer is late, but figured i would answer it in case somebody else wonders the same thing. Thanks!

    im currently making this for my dog second birthday and im just wondering, how long can this be stored in the fridge before it gets bad?

    • @MyPetcipe
      @MyPetcipe  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Did not test for it or wait that long. We try to finish ones in the fridge in 4 days, and maybe max 7 days.. if they can’t be finished in that time frame, we store pieces in the freezer and take out later.

    Baking soda is not got for dogs

    • @MyPetcipe
      @MyPetcipe  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can definitely take out the baking soda! The cake will just come out dense. The best part about cooking for them at home is you can put whatever you like in the recipe and take out whatever you don’t like for your dogs. Happy cooking! :)
