A couple of points. As a retired Marine that performed a number of SAR events over my career landing in remote, restricted, areas that are less than ideal happens all the time. It's one of the beautiful things about helicopters and their flexibility. As for taxiing, they abide by the same rules as fixed wings so have to transition and the hold before departure, especially from a commercial location, is normal practice. All that being said I fear I may have to drop $100 and get this.
Our rotor here in Alaska frequently comes to our hangar in Anchorage, but I’ve never once seen them taxi like any other aircraft. I’ve only seen them get cleared direct to the hangar, and then leaving direct. The tour companies in Juneau, also I’ve never seen taxi or take off the runway, they flight path was always, quite annoyingly I’ll add, right over my fire station.
Depends on the facility. I have been cleared to transit the space if there isn't any other traffic as well. A smaller less congested location will allow it at controls discretion.
How awesome would it be if you could this in a multiplayer setting... Like having someone with you to control the hoist and get the lost person, while you control the heli
I love helicopter SAR. Being a commercial helicopter pilot myself, it’s my dream to fly helicopter EMS, or whatever I can do to save people with helicopters. This was great to watch!
Bom dia amigo, muito bom seus vídeos, no meu tempo era diferente, comunidades no ORKUT, e hackeando aeronaves e missões numa internet primitiva ( 199~); Um abraço desde Porto Alegre 🇧🇷
I just did a similar second rescue mission. Look up how it's done IRL with slopes how helicopter pilots push down the front of the skids towards the up hill mountains.
I tried a heli SAR mission yesterday. Located the victim and was directed to land nearby. 'Cept the dude was on the side of a wooded cliff and in the trees. No hoist. Good thing for the Abort option. :(
@@Chris-ln1wy Naw, just dropped him some MRE's, a warmer sleeping bag, an MP4 player with all the episodes of "Yellowstone" on it, and called in the high angle repel team. Dude'll be fine. ;)
hey so i need help... i cant buy my rescue helicopter its all grayed out why can't i buy it i have the endorsement and the money to buy it but i cant buy it how come?

Having a co-pilot in multiplayer sounds like a fun idea. Or even an instructor or examiner. Real life tuition would be a dream
This would be pretty awesome

Agreed! That would be fantastic! 🙂
Yea - or imagine - being able to share a cockpit with a friend. How long are we waiting for this again?

That's awesome! Hope you'll be able to get to that point some day!
0:03 I already know it will be another awesome vid again 😊😊
Hope you enjoyed! 🙂
Always hyped for the new cow town video!
Thank you for your awesome support! 🙂
Dear god I HATE being forced to heli taxi, especially at big airports where its over a mile to the hold short...
Haha no doubt!
Woohooo Monday morning and a video to watch before work 😍
Great way to start the day!

Thank you! 🙂
Are flying allday~? hahaha.
Welldone~!!
Thank you!
Anyone else here play SimCopter back in the day??
I vaguely remember playing that! haha
Make more longer videos 😊

All that would be awesome to do if the cutscene wouldn't cause the helicopter to slide and you have no control of it haha
🚁 let’s go 🎉
Woooo! 🙂
They fly head on in to snow slopes on the mountains in the Alps to pick people up, rotor tips are literally 8" inches away from the snow at times...
Oh I'm sure they do and we could do that here but the cutscene causes you to not have control of the helicopter and makes it slide unfortunately! Lol
Just casually runs through the rotor blades... 😂🤦♂
"ease it in..."
Uhm... Phrasing.
How do you manage to trim the H125? Thr normal trim longitude and latitude axis does not seem to work?
No trim yet. Hopefully with the update today?
@@ziljanvega3879 Thanks mate! Let's hope.
its the only thing keeping me from doing more missions. its sad that the heli for 75% of the missions has broken trim...

you just left the dude out there??? terrible SAR
Yup some are literally impossible to finish even landing nearby and walking to them isn't possible because it's miles of trees! Haha

How many hours to have rescue missions available? I´m tired of doing only tours :S
Honestly don't remember how long it took actually it'll be quicker to get to it in the helicopter side though!
What is respect the condition of aircraft means? Thanks. Nice videos.
Thank you! And not causing damage to it! So slamming the gears or helicopter down, overstressing the engines and so forth!

i also subbed to you for really helping me in the last video i commented on regarding landing the tailwheel plane
Are you on console?
Nope PC!
