@@etabiansosin so galactic legacy is the new and updated version of KOTF and the only version that is still being worked on and movie duels is a lot more mission based this mod is a lot more DIY witch I like

The cool thing about this game is that even without any mods, the vanilla console commands would allow your to switch maps and spawn in characters. My favorite scenario was going to a big open map like Tatooine and spawning the Mutant Rancor and an entire army of Kyle Katarns. I mean 100 or even more. One swoosh of those enormous arms and like 20 Kyles start flying from one end of the map to the other and the lightsabers of their fallen would drop like rain. It was so epic.
This mod looks absolutely phenominal. Especially like the KOTOR bits.
yeah the KOTOR characters are one of my favorite parts.
I remember playing KOTF 2.0 back in the day and how fun it was to just spawn in a bunch of clone troopers to do an "Order 66" style mission and I love how this mod allows me to not only replay Academy's story but Outcast as well with new improvements. My favorite skin to use is the Dark Lord's Armor from TFU Ultimate Sith Edition. Now if only I could get the backhand stance it would be perfect.

I still have my original copy of this game. so many memories playing and modding it. Exciting to see it still being supported with mods in 2021.

This mod not only have characters from Kotor, but also Marka Ragnos, Naga Sadow, Ludo Kresh and many other Sith Lords, most don´t even heard of. Epic!
I agree, and with updates monthly, there's always a new NPC added to the game.
amazing how after 3+ years my work on Master Halsey, Buzz/Draa/the 41st Elite Company, Commander Trauma, Waxer, Boil, etc still appears in mods

This is an awesome mod. I had this game for Xbox probably 12 or so years ago. I always loved Dark Forces and DF 2: Jedi Knight. When Jedi Knight 2 came out, I wanted to play it soooo bad! It was visually so much better. Well, I never got it. And I had gotten an Xbox specifically to play KoTOR (I probably paid $70 bucks altogether) but that gave me access to other games that weren't on ps2, like Jedi Academy! Never beat it though. I've been wishing they'd make another game like it, but of course...they never will...
you can always keep your hopes up for the future. Maybe one game will be as good as the old ones!

Could you compare Movie Duels to GL?
The interface for MD is clearly better but for gameplay, customization, completeness (for characters, options, locations, etc.), variety, and whatever else, it would be cool to see what the differences are.
What features does one mod have that the other doesn't? Which is better with certain features in common? And whatever else you think is important to compare and contrast. Thanks if you can.

Actually not, if you go to their website they explain to you that the team split most going to galactic legacy and the others staying at kotf. I wouldn’t call it a copy, more of a remaster :)

They are similar, but this mod focuses on building your own missions and movie duels is just for the movie missions

Press f1 for quick force push lol and bind f3 for quick heal

Are the maps independent from the mod itself? I was wondering because mods like movie battles 2 have similar maps.
So unfortunatley some maps had to be removed but the devs are adding some new ones in the update coming soon!

are you able to spawn more enemies in this mod than in movie duels? Maybe your pc is prob just better than mine cause Movie Duels def doesn't let me spawn this many npcs
it's multiple factors usually how big a model is and how high poly it is.
Movie duels is the best
that's why I prefer GL over Movie Duels
@Bobby Hill lol did u just checked the last updates of MD? GL is nothing compared to it. You can make your own cinematics and you can really costumise your game. And the quality of the mod really became one of the most quality mod for jk3. The mod have his own Exagol map,and new models what are not just copy paste,like GL do. The only thing that GL have is lot of characters, but MD announced his first addon what will have more and more legend character too.

how did you get this camera angle? Usually it cuts half of the figure you are playing when you stand still, here instead I notice that I can see the whole figure
in the mod you would go to the angles setting and it should help you change it
How many ai can you have on the map to fight at one time?
I depends on multiple things, I would say don’t go over 95 or so. When you spread them out. I put 32 fight for my duo tournament video and didn’t have issues

Which kind of gaming pc would you need for a mod like this?
Nothing too powerful should be needed since it’s a game from 2003 but I have a higher end pc and it works perfectly for me and a Friend with a mediocre pc

most likely because the game engine has a little bit of trouble when having alot of npc's spawned. If it lags for you, it isn't your PC, It's the old game engine from 2003.

@@saltywater5097 the vanilla game works fine but when I install this mod (I followed every step) the frame rate drops consistently at like 5 fps.
And I can’t load some maps because the game doesn’t find them in the library.
