Im with you. These 3 New Year legends are the most underwhelming New Year units in OPTC history. They arent top 10 units in the game and their kit isnt that enticing
Yup! Also, the Luffy’s utilities are mid, paralysis removal is cool, but it’s nothing we can’t go without, especially when we have all of those nasty debuffs Bandai has been implementing in the game
@@Midmatt44 The only thing really hype about the units is G5's PVP/GP potential. The rest is just more meh. They 100% should have dropped a Dragon or Imu or something. Some big, never before released character with something wild in the kit.
Even if the units are good, Luffy - Sabo - Ace is weak combo. 1 time, ok, many time, no. They did the same with Trio Anni before. I think what bring hype can also be the theme of them, 3 unit, different Arc, like a mess. I would like to see full Revolutionary vs Marine batch in MF.
I love how across so many games that might be going into a bad direction, the art teams are always delivering. The action art looks amazing. Not too excited about the celebration tho
This is my plan to pull: 5 pulls in part 1 and 10 pulls on Luffy part hopefully Luck is in my side, otherwise no sweat if i don't get the all. In the past years ive been really supporting this game and chipped in so the game can grow, but it doesn't matter now. If Bandai doesn't care about the game, then why should I care about it? I'm 30+ years old and still love one piece like my 1st time in 1999, if Bandai cares and loves the game like we do, they should make the game enjoyable.
This luffy is going to replace every single Psy g5 luffy in free spirit teams in rumble. Psy g5 will now only exist in mono psy rumble teams from now on. The changing of the guard!
I think After the celebration their gonna be releasing a Luffy VS Lucci legend, where they teamed ip against S-Bear Or when they Fought each other,, Or Kakku/Zoro This New year Legends are a bit Off except for *Sabo* which for me is quite easy to use, But everybody is a Luffy Fan so good Luck trying to use his full potential on contents 😅
Galaxy Impact Garp, TM Coby, and PKA Kuzan all have the potential to give the 10 turns of EOT Healing. Outside of that I am not sure, very niche set of units. Making such a niche and useless mechanic the requirement pulls him down for sure. Would have been better if, when in G5, it did not need the EOT Healing for the conditional.
I also feel like they totally botched the gear change concept. It should have been a swipe like Enma Zoro and each different gear had a different debuff resistance so he'd be the king of utility. As it is...I'm "whelmed"...not under or over...just whelmed... Though his artwork is great! I'd love a poster of that hanging on my wall honestly haha!
@@Stump.d You know I watched the whole 2 hour video you guys made and one thing I think about constantly is I think the current devs are AFRAID to make a broken character. You can really feel it now too. Like NY units are supposed to be brokenly good. These ain't that (outside of the PVP/GP on Luffy). Hearing Toad shuffling cards the whole time was kinda funny too. XD
@@Stump.d That's true. I was thinking along the lines of the original G5 that's an amazing bypass captain or the Nami/Carina who is still amazing as a utility unit. IDK...it's just feels like some of these newer captains are either too convoluted to use or were too "safe" with just unga bunga damage numbers that the devs don't have to worry about b/c of the limit now?
I like the idea for this unit, just like the Captain Action Luffy, they do the same for Zoro but the condition is so bad that make Zoro terrible. Only thing i hate that they keep release broken G5 and PvP feel more and more unplayable. They terrible in balance but like to add stuff hard to counter (like last year they release many new Boost that make Dmg go too high).
You should absolutely 100% be pulling on this Banners cuz in this banner they will also be releasing all old legends which is not accessible through normal sugofest events.
Yes pull but just remember this game is not your tradional best legend clear all or how fast you can clear its bring the boosted units to get as many point as possible more you have the fastest you will get all the rewards that goes for almost every game mode

I think Wace is the most fun and creative but obviously Luffy is the most powerful out of the 3

We have broken characters, the game judt doesn't permit us to fully use them eg damage cap
