'Mecca' was a word used by Dr. Amarjeet Singh who champions the Sikh cause worldwide. And I deployed it to dignify a corresponding honor of the Sikh nation since Mecca is the most recognized reference of spiritual gathering. Sikhs unlike majority next door, believe in 1 God also

I am waiting for my Canadian passport. First thing I will do is go visit Pakistan mainly Lahore, Sialkot, Multan, Rawalpindi and Karachi.
I come from Himachal Pradesh (India). At one point Himachal, Haryana, both East and West Punjab were part of united Punjab. I can relate to the language, food etc. Unfortunately after partition, Himachal govt. stopped teaching Punjabi in school so my command on Punjabi is not as par. My father and uncles can read write and speak it quite well.
Nankana Sahib is only a few kilometres from Indo-Pak border. During partition both Britishers and So-called, our "Leaders completely forgot about the importance of Nankana Sahib. I wish if Lahore and Nankana Sahib were part of India.
