I live in Riverside California, when I was going to work at the community college where I was employed there was a poster by the bus stop of her beautiful face ,I will never forget her or her story ,she’s and incredibly brave woman and really quite a miracle that she was found after such a long time ,she’s an inspiration to me and many others as well .

I love how in her second book, she interviewed a lesbian who'd been raped and was so sensitive and careful to make sure she didn't say or do anything offensive to this woman or to anyone in the LGBT community (this was I believe before her own Dad came out as gay!). That much unqualified tolerance for gays and lesbians is a little unusual for somebody raised as a devout Mormon - but then, Elizabeth herself knows what it's like to be "Other" from the insensitive comments of classmates AFTER her kidnapping - about her not being a virgin; largely the consequence of "abstinence only" sex education. Sorry to any LDS-ers who think I'm generalizing.

Stop calling LGBT community then , cause in case you didn't know , the t is erasing the L .Check out on the cotton ceiling , lesbians being pushed to sleep with men in dresses who claim to be lesbians . If you care about gays and lesbians stop putting them together with straight men in dresses who have a fetish with lesbians.
