I was ready to put up with unfair PvP and P2W. But I decided to leave Undawn due to the large number of toxic players. If you read messages in the chat, you can become depressed, there was so much negativity there. I could be kicked off the team, and I couldn't even complete the daily quests, even though I had a good rating as a new player. But because the game marked me with the baby bottle symbol (lol), no one wanted to deal with me

It was a trip, I watched all the original undawn creators leave the game. You all were great to play with and work with goodluck medalcore and congrats on the successes in life and content creation!😄
Undawn dug his own hole. Even I deleted my Undawn-only channel when I quit the playing game. So much memories at the start, crowd servers, competition was fun. In early even if you did P2W you couldn't be invincible but it's turned out so much P2W, a lot of mine friends quit Undawn. Now Undawn merges servers when it loses players. In the end there will be only one server left and when everyone in there quits Undawn, Undawn gonna face with its bitter end.
What was strange about undawn that killed it so hard is that at the very start we were all super excited and everything was so cool until like 2 or 3 months and then devs dumbed the game and disappered, no optimizations, no listening to feedback, if u check discord it is a total ghost town with no serious staff to help or answer questions or check feedback, bugs left unchecked. Devs killed it so fast for some reason and only devs to be blamed for this, even now they can save it if they wanted as it is still has good google store rating but they just dont want to
Apoc here, just want to note a few interesting things. For context, -I am the current #2 Ranked Charisma player on Global (North america). -I have just under 4,000 hours concurrent since launch 2023 - AKA I've been online playing Undawn for 5 out of 12months, with 7 months spents working or sleeping. With that, here are my honest objectionary perspectives on the video with timestamps to date: 1.) 1:12 - Content Creation: the first sign that I knew things were not good was when the content creators were hosting UNDAWN live streams to promote the game early on, and they were only given one code for their ENTIRE live stream. I was aghast when metalcore himself said "...These codes are first come first serve.." From that point on I stopped following all content creators for this game. 2.) 1:48 Top of the leaderboard - prior to the April 2024 server merge, there were a lot of different North America servers. In my server 1002, we happen to be the number one Guild/camp (USA/Atlantis). A super whale camp that was together since launch competing along with a few notable camps such as Ryuga and Insane. Then the April 2024 merge happen and it completely broke our camp, just by the notification message days prior to the actual merge alone. Our top player ( #1 on the 1002 server) who was 115k+ said: ".. The guys on the those servers are at least 135k+ (at the time), and we will not stand a chance unless we merge with them. This move completely defuncted our camp and morale as a community, as everyone left to be part of the incoming top #1 team, since they had more progression time than our server did. 3.) 2:27 Monetization - similarly to my second bullet point, when it comes to monetization in this game, I know most people are not a fan of gatcha mechanics. I have a very long history with playing games with such mechanics and can honestly say that I spend somewhere in the ballpark of a $700.00 to $1, 200.00 (US) every two weeks (Mind you that a single pity run for the outfits alone in this game is netted land at about $650.00 for (50) Multis). These were for things that enhanced my gaming experience such as Pushing stats for CP Leaderboard, Homestead items for Homestead leaderboard, cosmetic outfits for Charsima Leaderboard and LOT of Gatcha Cars and Motorcycles. Note: I am NOT into or play PVP and only play this game as a PVE enthusiast. Prior to the April 2024 merger, I was ranked #9 @ 104K CP for Server 1002 with 7 out of the 10 top players all being from my camp. After the merger our top player (who was #1) on our server, dropped down to number 11 post merge, and I myself dropped from #9 to number #70. This was another sign that proved that I wasn't finding worth for the money spent anymore as my stats were immediately thrown to the Wastebin for the money invested into them. 4.) Lack of new comestics - of my list of gripes this is probably one of the biggest. Because at the end of the day I play to be as a contributing factor to my camp regardless of scale and/or ability. As I've told my Camp before I am only as good as my power level displays, or as much as how much I choose to invest into it. But Not only was the April 2024 merge very demoralizing, but the following month they ran the one year anniversary events which lasted an entire month into July and it featured items specifically behind a pay wall that would easily run well over $2,000 to obtain. Coupled with that is for the last 3 months there has been a lack of additions to content in the shop such as Homestead items clothing items or car items that don't again double back to being behind a gatcha wheel or a gatcha mechanic of some sort. Where I don't mind that to a certain degree I do not like it when everything is revolved around it. I still log in and play this game everyday but now just to do dailies and log out for the remainder of the day, as I've lost all motivation to do anything more engaging as the game is definitely going into a sunset period the in the western region. To conclude: there is no denying that ever since July 10th, the release of Once Human, not only did undawn's numbers go down as far as a general player base is concerned, but they can no longer even hit a solid concurrent 1,000 player average even at their peak times. Chinese community focus too much on their profit than giving the players the satisfaction of playing the game. now, August 9, 2024 the servers are now getting merge which means alot of players stopped playing. Even the Hype players ive known since the release. they quit. now the fun is shrinking too. The game much more like an Online Supermarket store on which if you cant buy what they OFFER you cant ENJOY the game. Tencent looks like an Online CASINO

I was once a loyal player of this game. I was never top rank or anything but I was higher than quite a few. Had my own camp. After a while the dailies became a chore and it just wasn't fun anymore. Tons of drama and after my supposed "friend" took my camp I was done. You invest money only to fall behind again once they merge and it doesn't feel like you actually make progress. I agree with everyone who says it started out great but the devs ruined it.

But after level 60, it became straight up pay-to-win. 💀 The whole game is toxic now, you can't win or do anything unless you throw $$ at it. The game was meant to be mobile only. It should never have been made on steam because there's too many bugs and glitches.screen freezing crashes and i know it's called survival for a reason but you get killed every second of playing. Thats not survival thats insanity
The reason youtubers quit is simple. They are addicted to spend uc or free uc from dev and open crate or post 1 gameplay vs bots but in undawn they need work+spend. Game system is different also, undawn creators need to post usefull videos by exploring game cuz no one interested to watch ur game play against zombies
I still play undawn, i have a few complaints, but the community is the best experience i have had in any game, so i stay. Im not very strong, i think if your main focus is pvp then this is not the game for a ftp or dolphin. I mostly play for everything else which is a huge amount of content. I just wish there were more content creators because thats the most fustrating paet about the game. That and clothes, we need more affordable clothes
Undawn I still play, but it's way to p2w.. I havnt spent a dime.. the servers are horrible and just a lagfest rubberban. They don't do anything to people that hack. They mixed pc vs mobile and that in itself got alot of pple upset cuz reality is pc players have a massive advantage and that's not accounting for the very very bad p2w aspect. Imo undawn had mad potential if they fixed many issues. They supoosedly using servers from 2004. They catered way to much to p2w. They don't fix anything. Feels like they've never optimize the game. They've basically killed their own game within the 1st 6 months. I shouldnt be able to put 2-4 mags into someone's head and doesn't drop that person. The games broken. Big mess. Still play and have love for the game only cuz of the pple but I hate how bad the pvp is.

I stopped after level 100 almost 2 years ago. It was a beautiful game and a great community and played it 6 to 8 hours a day.
