i love how traumatized you look from that last breakdown onwards lmao. ever since A Tear in the Fabric of Life these guys are doing some top tier shell shock core
after listening to it several times I think it's a cool track, in its sound I relate it to Code Orange, Converge, even Full of Hell. I was never a fan of this band, but it seems to me that in the last few releases I'm noticing an improvement in both their compositions and quality
The listerine face at 3:15 told me everything I needed to know 😈shake my hand 🤝. Btw, I checked out the slice the cake video of odyssey and homecoming! Liked them both! Also, knocked loose’s old stuff like on “pop culture” is worth listening to! It’s VERY angry and more intensely felt.
Definitely not deathcore. But I think knocked loose does a really good job of blurring the lines of hardcore and death metal or maybe they bridge the gap.
Very cold track! I belive the snare just had a loose fit - which is more "notisable" at single hits than with rolls (since rolls make the snare resonate more). That's my theory at least, since I hear some light snare with the single hits as well
Pretty intense and brutal with some cool breakdowns, but I think I've said before I'm kinda over this "extreme for extreme's sake" music. Whenever I listen to extreme genres I generally need there to be either a lot of musical interest (rhythmic, harmonic, tonal, melodic, etc.) or I need some real innovative originality to make me go "I've never heard anything like this," and this track isn't quite that. I feel like there's a lot of bands doing this techy post-hardcore/metalcore thing today. If I was going to listen to stuff like this I'd probably just go back to Converge or even Dillinger Escape Plan. These days I'm more in the Dance Gavin Dance camp that pairs that techy post-hardcore stuff with pop ideas.
So your over extreme for the sake of extreme but you then say you just prefer other bands that are extreme for the sake of extreme. Extreme is metal you either like it or you don't what is it
@@its.billy_bitch Both Converge and DEP qualify for both the exceptions I listed: they were more interesting musically and they did this kind of stuff first and I was into both back in the day. Nowadays this "extreme for the sake of extreme" is, for me, played out. So, yes, if I want anything like that I'm going back to the bands that did it first and (IMO) better. I like a lot of extreme metal but I don't like any of it merely because it's extreme.

Agreed. Couldn’t have said it better
They are metalcore. They just sprinkle in lots of other stuff.
Very cold track!

a knocked loose fit you might say
Check out their new track. It's even got a chorus in it this time!
Kentucky boys! Yes!
Lol, when something is so filthy all you can do is laugh 😂😂😂
❤try ELO Telephone line❤❤
Pretty cool track. It's not the most melodic song but it's cool nonetheless.
When I need something disgusting to get all my adrenaline out to, KL is that all day long.
