I had high faith for Mk1’s music, and it didn’t disappoint, I am in love with these tracks ever since I first heard The Teahouse for the beta. (Also 4:03 just screams Outworld and I love it.)
@@AzpecTProductionz The only original MK9 track that was in any way memorable was Shang's Garden. All the other good tracks were remixes from the Trilogy era (and half the stages didn't even get those). That was a real bad sign from the start.
This entire soundtrack is a vast improvement over MKX and 11. MKX' only good soundtrack was the Jinsei Chamber. Everything else sounded sooooooooo Generic. MK 11 did better. But i found myself always going back to either Kronika's Hourglass, Tournament Stage or The Black Dragon Fight Club. Eveerything else (Excluding Retrocade) Also felt so generic or just too slow for what was happening even if thematically they were fitting. A Matter of Time was an amazing and iconic theme that definitely took inspiration from MK2's Theme. MK1, I am straggling to find any lackluster tracks from stages and thats such a breath of fresh air. What I do miss is the days where each menu had its own theme. It isn't as fun just having cycled music from the Story Mode. I would really like Character select to have its own theme, atleast. But those are nitpicks at best. I welcome The New Era!

It isn’t that people haven’t heard them, it’s that people have but there’s nothing really to cling to, nothing that makes it stick in your head like songs such as Streets or Subway.
@@clanker2821 Yes, but a lot if people act like MKX and 11 having bad music is an objective fact, not an opinion. If saying that the music in thise game is good is just an opinion, then the same should apply if people say it's bad.
