And furthermore added to the above. I remember the last proper sort out on the Leazes.Blyth Spartans v Wrexham at st James's. Coppers had their helmets taken off them outside the ground , filled with liquid,.. through the turnstiles. From the centre of the leazes, all the Coppers were invited into the crowd to take their helmets back .one old boy obliged on his own. He was tossed around like a rag doll, and stripped. Happy days
