    got progression exams coming in exactly a month, i didnt have a good teacher, infact my college changed their teacher 3 times since we first started year 1 in last september. my works been all over the place since our first teacher skipped all the way to module 4 in ocr spec A, when we first layed our eyes on physics. and the other 2 were trying to fill that gap but are restricted by time left due to exams in a month.
    revisions been hard, these teachers were rude and made me hate physics. but i need to lock in for next months exams, im tryna flip it from Getting D's to try get a B or an A.
    your videos i think will save my exams, thank you so much Zphysics, i cant even describe how much these videos you made covering every topic will help me!

    could you please make a video going through projectile motion and also another video going through all of a level ocr a equation booklet if you have any spare time please (i am confused why we need certain mathematical equations like arc length and logs)? thank you in advance!

    I do not understand how the Drag Force is 0. I think i got a bit lost, could anyone help me.

      so just before an object starts falling its speed is 0, therefore the drag is zero. As the object falls, it's speed increases and hence its drag increases. Hope this is useful!

    Hi i just saw a multiple choice question where it said when a ball is hit upwards and is at maximum height, its acceleration is acting downwards. I thought as there is no net force at max height there would be no acceleration no? Please explain. Thanks!

      At max height gravity is still pulling it down, hence there is a force. In fact if you throw something up in the absence of drag the net force will remain constant (mg) at all points. Hope this helps!

    Hi at 28:50 I worked it out by resolving the vertical component of tension and then x by 0.2 and it worked should I carry on doing it this way or is there an issue with it?

      yep! You can totally do it in terms of forces, I think you mean the vertical component though.

    in the non perpendicular moment question, can we take the vertical component of T and multiply it by 0.2 (5cos60*0.2)? would this be any different from you have done?

    hi z physics im confused about practicals i always thought we need to know all the 'PAGS' but the spec says they are example practicals than can assess skills. do you have a list or do you know all the practicals we need to know for a level physics ocr a

      Excellent point, most of the pracs would not come up word for word. They are teacher/student guidance therefore we need to understand the principles behind them. Some of the materials including practicals will be "novel" new situations in which there would be a practical that students have likely not seen before. Don't worry though - they will all be completely solveable with existing knowledge of physics.       it's beyond the course. I think it was first discovered as an experimental law.

      the acceleration is decreasing however the speed is increasing. Hope this helps!

      ​@@luddy20 acceleration depends on the net force, as soon as the forces acting on either ends of the object is not equal, the body accelerates. Here, as the body is falling down, initially it has an acceleration of g which is 9.81 ms^-2 (Here the backward force is 0) . As it falls, resistive forces ( Air resistance ) acts upon it, the backward force (drag force) starts to increase, and as the drag force increases, acceleration decreases.
      Take for example this equation
      Net Force = mass x acceleration
      Forward Force - Backward Force = mass x acceleration
      Forward force is the weight of the object
      Backward force is the Drag force
      Mass is constant
      so as value of backward force increases the net force decreases so the acceleration decreases.
      A point will come where the drag force will equalize the weight (Terminal Velocity)
      Here the object is still falling but with no acceleration but at a constant velocity
