Filmmaker Louie Schwartzberg shows us the intricate world of pollen and pollinators with gorgeous high-speed images from his film "Wings of Life," inspired by the vanishing of one of nature's primary pollinators, the honeybee.
I don't know why this hasn't reached million views. This is amazing! The story, the cinematography, the overall content - it makes you see the hidden world! This deserves a credit!
This is absolutely beautiful and brought tears to my eyes. They were all great and I knew I loved those little bees and to watch that one just make himself a little mess in getting pollen was just so sweet.
That butterfly coming out and then the rest of them, this is just so breathtaking. Thanks for sharing your love with us.
I agree. The film is amazing, and the part with the little bees was among my favourites too. I have one small correction - making *her*self a little mess in getting pollen - agreed that it was very sweet. All of the worker bees are females ;-). The females are also the only ones with stingers. The wonders of nature, eh? :D
I also felt got my eyes umid. Beautiful and so very important for us all to learn the obvious: we all are nature. We need to protect what surround us to protect ourselves.

Last year I grew a giant pumpkin and had to self pollinate it.
This process is very simple and it is so similar to the way humans have sex it is unreal.
The male flower stem looks like a penis and the female plant flower looks like a vagina. This learning experience taught me that we have to have evolved from this planet and this planet is who we are.
I have pictures and enjoyed a smoke after the pollination.

I thought I read "The beauty of POLLUTION" haha That would make an interesting video for sure.
I don't like hippies & I don't like most environmentalists for several good reasons but there has always been one argument that I just can't argue against. Let's say you absolutely don't give a shit about the environment & all the animals...you really don't care. Now, why should you support productive conservation efforts? Because it helps you. In the end, making sure there is clean air & clean drinking water ensures you can keep doing whatever makes you happy. Help keep the planet in top shape.

It beautiful I love nature, plants, animals. But unfortunately, the person causes her irreparable harm. To preserve and survive our species, we need to protect nature. After all, if there are no plants, then there will be no us either.
Nothing to do with God or Jesus. Evolution and nature's fine tuning made this possible. Nothing more, nothing less.

@triforcelink It WOULD be an interesting video, actually. Pollution is the same as Terraforming really ...putting a man-made atmosphere into a planet. For Earth, sure it's gross, and endangers us, but for other planets - for our colonies - it would be beautiful Pollution :)
