    Great video. A centre punch, to mark the centre of your planned drilling, will help to keep the drill on target in the initial drilling phase.
    Thanks for sharing your video.

    @ 6.15 I had a laugh when you said about the bosch drill bits, "making sure someone else hasn't borrowed them". Haha, exactly!

    You could drill a 2.5mm hole from the chain guide to meet your bolt feeder if you missed the groove

    How can you flip your bar with only one oiler?

    Does it matter if you put the bolt before the nose sproket or after it. Before I could see some of the oil flies off?

    what was the size of the log and what model stihl did you use in the video? Can the oiler be positioned on the tip of the bar, so long as you don't interfere directly with the sprocket? Thank you for the clear demonstration.

      You need to position away from the nose. 30" log. Stihl MS880 :)

    Any reason why you could not do this on the removable bar tip?

    • @chainsawbars
      @chainsawbars 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Any messing around near the bar tip can cause it to fail and it's usually not worth the risk.

      @@chainsawbars Thanks. My concern was that I did not want to lose bar length.
