Why don't they just move on and stop causing the world so much trouble. The Pals. never had an established government. Whose fault was that? Now your complaining that the Jews took back their ancient land and formed a government. The PALS are just squatters and should have no rights to that land. Thats why the other ARAB countries don't take them in either. MOVE ON!

60 minutes: you may not be perceived as exciting as other news outlet but that’s ok. Because you remain grounded in truth while the others sensationalize and twist it. Keep up the good work and maintain your reputation as a truth seeker and not headline seeker.

In this instance how so? They seemed to do a bang up job twisting while sensationalizing. Glaringly so... for instance when the host claimed "unlike transistors each additional qubit is twice as powerful as the one that came before it" (which is wrong by the way). Adding in nonsense about 20 bits only being 20 times more powerful than 1 bit when dealing with transistors'. When anyone with a basic understanding of binary knows it would be 2 to the power of 20 -1. Which according to my calculator is 1,048,575 not freaking 20. Never even touched on the fact over 99 percent of what you would want to do with a computer would be much slower and far more expensive with qubits. Instead choosing to twist and sensationalize talking about a "general purpose quantum computer" when no one in their right mind would be working on any such thing. Failed to mention the research that has proven we can replicate much of the benefits of qubits with normal transistors. I could continue to question their reporting on quantum computing but I think I have made my point well enough to ask you the question.
If they can not get simple 2 bit math correct why would anyone trust them with complicated stuff like Hamas/Israel? Because they are telling it the way you want to hear it?

@@robertlewis2542Hey, give them a break. The presenter said that he didn't understand it that he was trying to give an explanation of what they had told him. Dumb dumb version I'm sure. The university should not take sides, they are an educational institution, they should allow students to protest in a non violent and respectful way, a lot can be learned. These protests will not change the outcome of this war but it can change the world and it is useful. The slippery slope is that a "war" is being created on campus with students demanding the university take sides. These kids want to feel connected to something bigger

Objectively you'd be right on the button. I imagine the reason the gentleman felt emboldened in that position is because of the US-Israeli alliance. The top positions in the US govt are now occupied by folks of Jewish faith. I find that quite interesting. The media which is supposed to be neutral, has been parroting Israel's talking. During the Vietnam War era, universities held teach-ins. For those of you too young to remember what those were, they were public lectures open to everyone at the university that were organized by professors, more or less spontaneously, when some momentous event happened, such as when the federal government widened the war into Cambodia. Students boycotted their normal classes and went to these lectures instead .These events didn't just happen at smaller schools like Dartmouth. Berkeley was a frequent site. I don't understand why more schools aren't doing them now.

Good reporting on the campus unrest over the Palestine/Israel crisis. Indeed these are teachable moments that need to be used to create and nurture better understandings of the pain, the origins of the conflict, and solutions to generate respect and coexistance for one another on campus and out into the greater world.
People need to come to terms with how Oppression and Occupation effect people from the mind set of the Oppressors to those who are Oppressed.

I see a lot of victims who put themselves in that role for attention. If so scary then don’t participate and claim the victim by proxy role. Learn your history and understand both sides and how they got to where they are. Notice I said: “there.” These people are at a safe campus setting where the students are controlled and restrained by that setting of a campus. I would imagine they are trying to re-create the protest of the 1960s the best they can based on their recollection of what a protest should look like. If you’re truly this passionate about one side or another, then go to where the conflict is. All you people are doing is putting people in danger that don’t want to participate by making them choose one side or another. Israel, and Palestine, are not to blame, it is governments, leaders, and those who claim to speak for its people that are to blame.
I noticed that those who are upfront, claiming to be activist, can’t seem to put their cell phone away. I wonder if they could not broadcast themselves, would they actually be doing this?

I wouldn’t want a Christian State in the U.S. ( it’s against our Constitution). And no one is about to endorse an Islamic State. So I must ask, why is there a “Jewish State”. I think not enough people talk about the differences in quantum computing and conventional computing, they always just say it makes things "better". The way I see it, the research that trickles down to our daily lives will transform. Medicinal research (custom medicines on a per-person basis), simulation of global weather on a different scale for direct predictability (potential disaster events, etc.), essentially many massive problems that require looking in a whole bunch of different directions rather than left or right can be far more easily solved.
Will there be personal quantum computers? There isn't any conventional use for them currently and I don't see the practicality of it. But I think a lot of the optimism comes from the fact that people also once said this about personal computers in the 50s when they also required a room to house them under very special conditions. So a lot of this discussion may foster open thought for the future of possibilities to come from quantum computing.

Apologize in advance buts hypocritical when ur protesting on a country where people living have no clue whats going on and disrupting their day to day lives where theyre just trying to go work and survive their own personal issues as well. Because for any protesting for another country is very commendable but as ive said doesnt make sense and does not provide result when ur knocking on the wrong door. I'd say go straight to the source of the problem.

As long as people are polarized, standing behind forms of idolatry, Flags, scarfs, symbolism's, anything to measure themselves different than others then they will always remain at odds and at war. The building blocks of hate start with taking sides. divide. and the only one who conquers is the enemy of which influences them all to further divide themselves further polarize themselves. This is why God instructs his people NOT to adhere to any form of idolatry. No symbolism's, no crosses, no pictures or paintings, no flags none of it! not even the so-called star of David, or even the cross itself. Even the cross is idolatry, symbolism that is always misunderstood and has no baring on the purpose of the religion which is about the spirit not the flesh and not of things that will pass. But its to the foolish mind and desire of man to be influenced by the enemy , to stand on division. If you remove symbolism what remains are people and their hearts, Pain and suffering can be related too, anger fear, and the breaker of all Love. But they choose to be divided and so they will never see an end to conflict. That fire of hate will ever burn as long as you make items to feed it. If an alien came to earth and looked at all of mankind, and this alien had any level of intelligence, it would view mankind to be fools indeed, a world chock full of diversity, an oasis in the stars full of billions of forms of life. and the ones that claim themselves to be the highest of all intelligent beings, can not coup with the very variations of their own species, cant coup with ones color or rationalize the simple fact that the body adapts to its environment and the nutrients it consumes, all the various forms of birds, mammals, insects. and we look at mirror images of ourselves only to search for anything that differ to make the claim of one being better than the other. this from the most he who claims to be the most intelligent. We consume to the point of extinction. we build and remove the very source of our survival for the sheer sake of the greed of a few. We claim their is no God, but we only choose to validate its existence if it cleans up our mess. We trash the world our minds and our bodies, leaving our spirit empty, and we blaim all but ourselves. yeah... real intelligence.

Do some research and study before you criticize any person or group. The students in these colleges must study about the history of Israel and Palestine before they start a protest. They have the brain to do it. Do it now. To stop killing each other. Don't just go to any protest, because, your friens tell you to go.
