PLEASE NOTE! This ram seal kit may fit other 4 ton rams but the ID's and OD's for these seals can vary for manufacturer to manufacturer as we know some manufactures are using multiple suppliers for their ram parts.
Good to know. My harbor freight 10 ton and 4 ton and all the accessories I couldn’t live without to go with it will one day need this. Just happy that I got all the air purged tonight. Thought I was carrying it All back. What a nightmare to purge all the air. Guess that’s why u follow instructions like it says before first use bc I didn’t I just got the stuff out and started playing around. 3 hours of pumping bleeding pumping bleeding oh what joy!

Where you get the rings or seals from ???
My hydraulic tool says Taiwan on it. Is it repairable or do I toss it in the trash. It is a 4 ton.

funny how you did not remove the clip ring, being it is NOT a clip ring and thats why you skipped that part, but I know how you removed it.
It was a compression spring clip and only requires a small flathead screwdriver (best) or a pick. Nice fake though! Tom in NV

Jerome Gatila check the connection fitting at the ram. If you can see threads where the pump hose connects to the ram the fitting has loosened and needs tightening. If problem persists email me you phone number at timgerhards@therailsaver.com

Oh, man! I was taught long ago to never use any tool that might score the piston, which can absolutely cause a leak whether the seal is good or not! When I saw you use that screwdriver on the keeper ring, I cringed. When I saw you HAMMER the screwdriver next to the piston at the end, I screamed out loud. NEVER, EVER take a chance on ruining a piston (or cylinder) like that. Bad idea!
