Just recieved mine today... my God it was very heavy to carry from the post office to my car ... I have the HG p802 and the HG p806 too.....Geoffrey from Malta .
Looks like a great kit and I always like a fun challenge without clear instructions or directions lol..I like to crack the secrets of these hg rigs. Looking forward to your progress..
Yeah. Although I must say that, with the exception of the wiring details which are admittedly sketchy, I find the instructions from HG to be excellent. There. Now that I've said that we shall no doubt discover the special traps laid for us by those wily Chinese. I'm still slowly getting the shed into a workable condition and the missus says I can't start building on the dining room table. Not Fair! Paul
And I can't wait to get started. I have to do a major clear up in my shed as I am half way through refitting shelves and installing lighting. But I'm hoping to get started soon. Paul
I search all youtube for that, unfortunately ı dont have any rc car, truck model or anythink else, beacuse they so expensive. The pain of being a rc lover in turkey

@@paulsmodelshed Perfecto Paul, en mi canal tengo algun video de mi 802 tirando de una plataforma mas un tanque que en conjunto pesa sobre 25 kg.Espero ansioso tus proximos videos. Estoy interesado en ese lanzador, mi idea es hacerlo funciona🤣🤣🤣.Felicidades nuevamente por tu trabajo🤝
If it’s anything like the tank transporter trailer kit I would carefully check the wiring before connecting absolutely anything up. The battery box had reversed polarity on mine, if I had actually put it together as per kit it would have gone bang ! Apparently a common fault that’s why I checked before I made the mistake ! These kits may be better ??
Yep. I had the same problem on my 806 but I noticed the red/black wires got switched before I put the power on. I really like hg kits but I suppose problems will always get through. I shall keep an eye on things as I build and do a full review afterwards. Hopefully this time they have got it right.
Yeh i had similar problems with the 806 and in the end just ignored the manual and wired it up reversing the black and red wires , all lights work perfectly , judging by the wiring on this , they seemed to have listened the the criticisms , although I'm not at the switching on stage yet , as I'm still in the middle of building it...
Hi mate i connected all the wires but i seem to have got something wrong because it went for a short while then went BANG!!!...i tried it using the small remote but i fear i got some wire crossed I'm going to go back through it before i risk connecting it to the 802 directly ooohhh dear me....
Ahhhh. Not good mate, hope you find the problem. Always difficult to follow this many connections and you just have to trust the manufacturers got it right. I’m planning to put a receiver in the trailer so I can operate from the radio control but it will still work if it’s not attached to the truck. Let me know how you get on.. good luck Paul

@Paul's model shed it certainly feels heavier than the p806 trailer , which I've also got , I'd ordered the yellow one but that's not available until later this month, going to make a start on mine this evening whilst my wife watches the soaps.....lol..
Great, I thought my 806 was heavy till now. I'm not going to do a full build video, just bits and pieces. I watched one build video in 7 parts and after part 2 I gave up. So I'll do a review at the end with bits of construction in it so people wont get too bored. I've then got to show my 801/802 quick change mod so I'll make a small video of that. Where are you based? I'm in the UK.

Thankfully the price is starting to come down a little now. It's a great kit with a lot of potential, but it's a lot of money!

I believe the tractors and trailers in this series are actually 1:14 same as Tamiya (and ScaleArt?) trucks.
No Zack, I have both Tamiya and HG models and the HG ones are definitely 1:12
@@paulsmodelshed I guess they are closest to 1:12. The length of the trucks doesn't seem correct for that though.

Yes Harold, it will need its own battery pack as it has to work when not connected to the Hemtt. Thankyou I will enjoy the build.
