Thank you all for the nice words and thank you @CNBC Make IT for featuring me in your channel. I was afraid to tell my story because I understand that immigration is an extremely controversial topic. However, I wanted everyone to know that if you come for the right reasons to this beautiful country; you can achieve many goals as long as you walk the right path and trade in hard work for it. I am extremely grateful for the sacrifices that my mother and my wife did for me and to the judge that despite having one of the toughest records was able to truly listened and review my evidence. My mother is the true hero in my story, she never gave up. She worked 3 jobs to support my little sister and I; she has suffered and experience the worst in life, she is truly and inspiration to my entire family. To everyone, Once again thank you so much for the kind words; you all gave me a sense that I really belong here.

That’s what I’m trying to do here. I’m from Guatemala and I didn’t go to jail thank God but I did have to take control of my case because the place where I had my documents handled for my residence didn’t do the right job and they were going to deny my case if I didn’t give enough and sufficient proof for a pardon.
I read, I saw tons of TH-cam videos because lawyers were just too expensive and didn’t seem like they cared either way. Thankfully with my sister’s help and other family I submitted my case and I won my pardon!! Actually God granted me that amazing blessing, now I just need to get on track and start making the 💰 to help my parents and make them proud 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
      God bless all immigrants❤

He's an illegal alien invader who managed to game the system to cut in line ahead of actual, legal immigrants. Calling this illegal alien an 'immigrant' is an insult to all legal immigrants. Comparison helps big time and Americans are stupid for not understanding the privilege but nothing new about this with humans. His mother came illegal for her benefit so he had to go thru the process and was treating justifiable as a criminal but great job for him taking his case serious and defending himself and the US justice system gave him the opportunity. I do not think we should promote illegal border crossing because of one good story when there are people dead in the jungle or it being illegal.

I am an immigrant. Although I am more privileged than he is as I came here legally and with a bachelor’s and RN license, it was during the economic collapse. Twas never easy: scrubbed toilets, cleaned houses, almost became homeless. I resented coming here because the American dream was nowhere to be found. An opportunity knocked in a border town far, far away. I grabbed it with only trash bags to place my belongings. What I’m trying to say is, keep on looking for opportunities. Even if you face hardships, never think that you are a victim for one sec. It will make you depress and it will
    Make you loose focus.

I don't think him getting 20 properties is something we should root for. Landlords grabbing a lot of property can manipulate the prices of rent in the community and make housing out of reach for regular people in the community. Landlords are the reason why rent is so high and renters are struggling so much. Some countries require properties to be owner occupied to protect the native population. They really push to find inclusive stories: young and old, American and non-American, single adults and families, native English speakers and non-native English speakers, ethnic and non-ethnic, abled and disabled individuals, etc. This is what American media representation should be: positive, diverse, inclusive and inspiring news.
