Very nice documentary. Very nice lady she is. I love her innocent smile.

Anytime I see a living statue or street performer I always tip them generously. I think what they do is amazing, I know it's just standing there but I couldn't do it. Just imagining the lactic acid building up in your muscles, your shoulders, legs are arms.

    Thanks.
Fascinating film. I'm always rather unsure of my feelings when I see a living statue. Next time I'll understand and enjoy more.
    Good luck.

There is actually quite a distinction between begging and busking! When a person is "begging," all they're doing is asking for money and not giving anything in return.
But in busking, you are giving something back to the people who give you money; in this case it's a form of entertainment. Also, here the busker does not even ASK for money so you can watch her and enjoy her living statue performance without even giving her a cent. That's also usually a big difference between busking and begging.
      Hope this helped~ ^^

thanks yes . I would like to try this but I live in penzance not many people here to entertain.

Even it it was, so what? You could call them the most artistic and talented beggars of all time then. Also you speak as if begging is something bad. I think people like this have creativity, have fun, have a house or a flat, most of them probably have another job so in this cruel world, the real homeless beggers who have nothing, really nothing get less money then people like this. So you could even say its unfair, yet its not that they get rich for this. As you can see by another comment people think begging is bed because "you do not get something in return" please are aholes! If your down, depressed and have nothing there is not much you can give.

No because you need (or don't need) all kinds of authority to do it. In the town where I live you need a fuckton of paperwork and spend a lot of money to play music, busker on the streets legally (that's why you only see them on festivals because that's the only time when it's worth it), and about 50 kilometres away in another town you don't need any permission so it's usually full of street performers every day, maybe because that town has a lot of tourist attraction and street performers just make the streets more lively
